A house of conundrums defined: think short-term rental (Airbnb, Vrbo, HomeAway, etc.) meets something like a private escape room.

The Adventure Decoded
You and your friends will step back in time and collectively become the great detective Sherlock Holmes.  

You have been away from London for several days working on a special case. Upon your return to your Victorian/steampunk style “home on Baker Street,”  you discover a message left by an unnamed nemesis.  It seems he has left you a maze of conundrums throughout the house to challenge your deductive skills.  You can’t help but allow a small grin to cross your lips, having realized that it is going to be an exceptional night of cerebral play. 

You are ready.

I’ll second @atvu89. This is a one-of-a-kind (or soon to be three-of-a-kind) experience that is so overwhelmingly awesome, it’s hard to know where to begin.

The decor and the design details will get your attention immediately and almost make you forget some really good puzzles and a really integrated and immersive experience.

Stayed one night; excluding dinner, probably took us 4.5 hours. Just loved every bit of it - can’t recommend it enough.

Light-hearted, nostalgic, and playful, Playground is a favorite of both first-timers and enthusiasts. Your game will start in a classroom where you’ll have to finish all of your assignments before the end of the day, or you can forget about summer break. And these assignments are unlike anything you actually encountered in school.

We have played this room a few times and had a blast. We love all the puzzles and having to put our brain to the test. All the balls falling from the play ground was so unexpected but so freaking fun.

Many consider Prison Break our most difficult escape room. Players are split into two different prison cells and must work together to get out of a 1950s style prison. A successful escape will include a sneaky trip to the warden’s office. An unsuccessful escape will land you in prison forever.

Yes, those are real prison toilets….what can we say? We are obsessed with creating realistic environments.

My fiancé and I would come redo a room at this company if Lauren could be our GM. We absolutely loved her. She made this room go from like to love because of how she started us off and finished the room with us.

As a special ops agent, covert investigations across the globe are nothing out of the ordinary. But your routine search of a spice market leads to an unexpected discovery…Now you’re left to combat an international crisis that threatens the state of the world as we know it. You’ll need to harness all your tactical skills and training if you’re ever going to put a stop to this global catastrophe. Through all the twists and turns you have to ask yourself…how deep does the conspiracy go?

This was a great room. The theme and set were done really well with unique, interactive puzzles. We had 15 minutes left and we were a group of 2. Great for a small group, I would recommend only 2-4 people.

Special Ops: Mysterious Market

Are you brave enough to dive into the depths of the ocean to investigate an abandoned laboratory? Well, you’ll have to be in this escape room! The brilliant researcher, Dr. Humphreys, has gone missing and there have been rumors of mysterious experiments since his disappearance. It’s up to you to navigate your submarine to the lab, decipher Humphreys’ research, and discover what he’s been hiding deep in the ocean. Just be careful…you’re not alone in these waters…

This was a great mix of high tech and mechanical puzzles, and highly engaging.  The adult, the young teen, and middle schoolers in our group were all challenged without being overwhelmed.  The staff is very friendly.

Stop by for playtime at Colleen’s Dollhouse. The dolls themselves are the most disturbing part. Their porcelain faces are cracked, with glassy eyes that seem to follow you no matter where you stand!

Over the years, police have never sought out possible murder motives, or offer any conclusion for the mourning families, and the reason?... Supernatural forces inhabit the so-called “Halloween House”.

Every 33 years victims fall prey to some type of demonic happening within this horrific dwelling.How can this happen? Is your team brave and quick enough to stop this deadly force, before your team becomes its next victims?

I really enjoyed this.  It is a good regional quality escape room.  I enjoyed the spooky atmosphere and the jump scares caused by load noises and light changes.  Good for 2-4 people.  There are some unique interactions that I haven’t seen before.

This retro escape room takes you back to the early 1970s where Jean Forley an innocent grandmother is murdered by one of her grandsons.  you play the role as one of the family members trying to recover the will your grandmother left you and valuable items she left you hidden inside her house.  however, as you play her spirit still haunts her house and the killer is still on the loose.  will he return to murder the rest of the family and get the hidden items she left you before you get to them in your allotted time frame?

The 1800s California gold rush was a time when just about anyone could get lucky with a fortune. No one knew this better than your recently deceased relative, Clyde Hamilton. Though he’s since passed, the prospector left behind quite a pretty penny in gold. As his surviving next of kin, he’s offered you a chance to claim the gold fortune as an inheritance for yourself…if you can find it! You’ve only got 60 minutes to get into Clyde’s cabin and take the gold stash before news of the fortune reaches other greedy ears in town…

As reviewed previously, The Escape Game franchise continues to be THE standard by which all other rooms are measured.  And once again, Gold Rush did not disappoint.  This was one of the easier rooms at this location and was mostly linear.  This would be an excellent game for a team with a few rooms under their belt.  The room is very immersive and had some very fun puzzles, some of which we had not yet seen.  We had a great time playing Gold Rush.

You and your friends are the brightest first year students at the School of Magic. Use that talent to cast spells/chants that will help you find a Portkey for returning. After traveling to the School of Magic, the portal at Kings Cross Station has mysteriously stopped working. Thankfully, you and your friends are the brightest first year students. You must use that talent to learn new spells and chants that will help you find a Portkey that you need to escape. Be careful, though. Magic is a mysterious thing and can reverse effects if not used carefully.

This was a really fun room and even better for the Pottermore fans out there!  The puzzles were linear, yet challenging.  Also, a very unique way to interact with the game master, that fit the theme perfectly!
