Escape Rooms for Kids in Manchester

“All of the Chapelgate Mysteries games are a super-high level and this is no different. Follows the familiar collection-style and the puzzles are fun and challenging which gives you a great sense of satisfaction when you solve them. Would highly recommend”

“Escape room heaven, only the second we’ve played here and still mind blowingly good. So much to do it will test you and unfortunately we weren’t at our best but still did ok and definitely loved the experience. Wonderful hosts who are very happy to chat but also explain anything you didn’t get. If you haven’t been here you really really have to make it a priority”

“This is a really fun and unusual in theme collection game. There is a high number of puzzles to complete and they really varied in terms of type and difficulty. We played as a two and I don’t think either of us stopped moving for the full hour! We had a great time!”

“Our third visit, and the reason we drive down from Glasgow, and we’ve left as happy as ever. This story was fun and engaging, and got us doing things we’ve never done before in an escape room. Everything is beautiful. Everything is designed and made to an exacting standard and made me want to stay in the 1930s. It’s fun-filled non-stop puzzling from start to finish and we can’t wait to get back. If you’ve yet to visit Escape Quest but are a puzzle fan then treat yourself and get booked in. Elaine and Mike are a joy who know their craft and treat you like welcome friends.”

“This was a wonderful and challenging room with exceptional puzzles and magic moments! Make sure you’re facing the right way 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Sam was a great host and I can’t to return to do their other rooms! What a special ending to my birthday 🎂”

“Really nicely themed room, good use of technology (doesn't feel like a very tech heavy room although it is prevalent throughout). Some fun set pieces as well and nice use of the props/environment in the puzzles. Great fun for any aspiring adventurous archaelogists.”

“Thanks to Sam, great host. We loved the room, escaped in 51 minutes could have been quicker if we hadn’t of made silly errors and took longer over a couple of puzzles. The puzzles are a mixture of very hard to some being straight forward if you have the eye for spotting! Really enjoyed it, great links and great content.”

“We managed about 70% of the puzzles! So need to return! We scored 95,000 as we were slow on some puzzles. We need to return as loved it!!! Very overwhelming at first but then once you’ve cracked a few and worked out the tech side, it flows so well. We are itching to get back and complete it all!”

“Excellent room. As with all at this venue so really well made, definitely not a temporary Christmas room and has plenty of fun elements and original puzzles. Lovely people, superb venue, strongly recommend doing them all. Happy Christmas 🎄😍”

“2nd game we played, really enjoyed the games, plenty to keep a group busy and a good mix of quick hits and those to rhink about. Lovely to meet Jenny and Sally, we could have chattered for hours. Looking forward to going back for their Xmas game.”

“Excellent room please don't think because it's their oldest room it's not as good as the other ones. All the rooms are great and I think the great thing about these escape rooms is we as a family were debating on the way home which our favourite one was. Great puzzles and some really good unique challenges! A Must Play!!”

“Great game play! Flowed really well and great host. I did this with 2 people who have only done a handful of rooms previously and they also loved it so good for all people. Would definitely recommend it.”

“Hands down my favourite room that Lucardo has to offer - and they’re all great! I loved the sense of urgency and the theatrical escape with this one. Made us really feel like prisoners and was so much fun”

“A fun room overall but unsure why it is in two halves, would be better as one full room for the entire hour or multiple rooms you can move between freely! That being said there was a big difference between the two halves, the first we felt was lacking in signposting while the second half was everything you’d want from a collector style room. Overall well worth playing but not without a few small faults.”

“Loved this room, like a cluedo scenerio. Flowed very well, and we both worked together as a team of two which we were commended for our communication skills! Definitely a fan of these rooms and still a couple to do”

“We had Sam lead us through this room. He was amazing. What a room!!! There’s so much that it really took us the entire time and we needed a couple of nudges which we couldn’t have done without - the puzzles are brilliant and really get you using your brain. It’s definitely a very well thought our room and we can’t wait to try a couple more if theirs now.”
