Ripper

Had to create an account just to review both this one and the Nevermore escape room at Nocturne Adventures. The less I say about this one, the better as it’s great to go in not knowing what to expect. I’ll just say that I am a big fan of escape rooms and a big fan of haunts and this one has the best of both worlds. Truly one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done and the owners are very kind and super passionate about their craft.

One of the absolute best haunt based rooms we have ever played anywhere, without question. Most ride on the scare factor alone, while this room put forward great quality puzzles. The scare factor and acting was top notch. Absolutely a must play room... as long as you like scary 😱 I'll also say the owners/actors are SUPER EXTRA COOL!. Mind you we do NOT rate rooms based on people, but it is worth saying.

I cannot stop gushing about this room. The flow, the pace, the puzzles, the theme, the intensity, were all on point. If you're a fan of horror, this room should go on your list. Incredible!

Start your Apple Watch before you begin because you’ll definitely get a workout out of it. If you love haunted houses and escape rooms, this is perfect. This is one of the best escape rooms we’ve done. There’s no time limit but that’s the last thing you’ll notice. You’ll be scared enough to want to get out as quick as you can. They make the play more personalized which adds to the immersion. The acting, top notch. The game masters and the game set up was perfect.

All I can say is holy f$&7ing S!?T!!! This room had our hearts pounding, we were sweating, and yet it was amazing all in one. This isn’t for the faint of heart and normally I don’t like being scared but this was an escape room I’d recommend to anyone who has a passion for all kinds of room. 15/10 for the immersion and scare factor!!

The puzzles weren’t particularly difficult, though one puzzle had us thinking for a while. Overall, the puzzles were fun and satisfying to solve. This was also the first escape room where we were chased multiple times, which added an exciting adrenaline rush. It was both fun and exhausting in the best way, making for a memorable experience. The owners were exceptional with their fun humor and hospitality!

One of my least favorite (and most exhausted) genres... but done perfectly. An unforgettable chase horror experience with lots of laughs, brilliant use of space, jumps and interesting puzzles. Not all of the puzzles are great or in-world sensical (there's a counting puzzle, for example, which doesn't make sense where it shows up), but there's so much good here, and the puzzles are largely on theme. Play it! R-rated mode adds some humor to the game, which may actually have the effect of LESSENING the scare-factor. Owners say that the scares are not dialed down in the PG13 version. Something to consider when booking.
