L'Île perdue de la Reine Vaudou [The Lost Island of the Voodoo Queen]

This game had very solid and fun puzzles, and again the set design here was immaculate. The way to interact with your GM in this one was very funny. I will say that there are a lot of tripping hazards on this one. Beware of your surroundings as there are steps up and down that are kind of "hidden" (they blend in well) and there's a "tricky" area once you get to the 2nd room.

Of the 40 escape rooms I have done so far, this was my favourite.

This may be controversial, but this is my new favorite escape room of all time. I played most of the other Escaparium Laval rooms, and this one just stood out to me as special right from the start. The theme was fun, the puzzles were a great balance of thinking and coordination, I just absolutely love this room.

This will probably change tomorrow when I go back to this place and do another room, but this is the best escape room I have ever been in

A really fun game with beautiful set and amazing theming throughout. The most ‘in world’ element was the hint system was GENIUS. I have never left a game thinking about the hint system before, so that was a change. We played as a 5 and I would recommend a smaller group for this game. Overall a solid experience!

Potentially some of my favorite puzzles we did at Escaparium. The set was super cool and even the puzzles were very on theme. The actor/gm definitely did their job in getting us hyped up for this room. But I do wish their speakers for the GM were louder. I struggled to hear them multiple times. Also, the motors for one of the doors was really slow and definitely killed the vibe a little. But aside from that I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles I did. Extremely piratey. I’d definitely suggest this room for families with tweens.

Super fun! We had a brilliant GM who played his character expertly. Puzzles were all thematic and linked well with the story. Game starts linear but becomes nonlinear in the second half Not difficult at all so should appeal to all
