The Amsterdam CatacombsLogic Locks - The Amsterdam CatacombsEscape roomIRLThis sets a really high bar for horror escape experiences. Amazing atmospheric design, great actors, and effects I haven’t seen before. We had a teammate who was super nervous about going into a horror room, but they had a great time in this experience!
The Honeymoon HotelDarkPark ZoetermeerEscape roomIRLA well-themed and atmospheric room, with a good sense of progression throughout. This was the first room for a couple of our players, and they were able to contribute alongside more established puzzlers. With six players, some folks occasionally felt like they didn’t have much to do, but other than that, it was a great experience!
IllusionEpic EscapeEscape roomIRLReally fun and well-themed room, with a super attentive host! Lots of different types of puzzles throughout as well, it was a great experience in our group of four.
The DomeMama BazookaEscape roomIRLThis room subverted my expectations throughout the entirety of the experience, which was awesome. The host was also great!
Paradox | The Incredible Time MachineRabbit Hole Recreation ServicesEscape roomIRLGreat room, puzzles that really fit the theme, and really amazing set design. With 2 people, we got to split up and work on different things as well as collaborate on a number of puzzles. Lots to do, lots of variety, and lots of fun.
Frost Base ZRabbit Hole Recreation ServicesEscape roomIRLVery immersive room with puzzles that are well-themed for the environment. I appreciate that the room encouraged cooperation between people, giving us each different things to do. We did Frost Base and Paradox at Rabbit Hole, and I think I prefer Paradox, but Frost Base is a really great room that stands out from others we’ve done. Can’t really go wrong at Rabbit Hole!
Room 303 - Chapter 1303 Escape - Denver Escape RoomEscape roomIRLVery well-themed room, with interesting puzzles and some nice quality of life choices (thanks for pausing the timer during lore!). Really played into the hotel experience, which made it a unique room for me.
Dark Heart of the Hotel - Chapter 2303 Escape - Denver Escape RoomEscape roomIRLA fun experience that builds out the lore of the ongoing story of the Homicide Hotel, but I’d agree with other reviews that Room 303 was a more exciting and engaging room. Dark Heart’s got some clever puzzles, but Room 303 felt more immersive and higher stakes. Looking forward to the story’s continuation!
Grim Stacks: Books & BindingPuzzle Effect - DenverEscape roomIRLSolid room with well-themed puzzles. One puzzle was a little poorly designed, with multiple reasonable interpretations of the solution, but other than that it was a fun time.
Mystic ChamberConundrum Escape Rooms - LakewoodEscape roomIRLFun room with some unique puzzles I haven’t seen elsewhere. Everything flowed together quite well, and the room has puzzles for a variety of skill sets.

Dead Man’s Secret - CLOSEDConundrum Escape Rooms - LakewoodEscape roomIRLReally enjoyed this room. Lots of varied puzzles to solve. Staff was very welcoming, and let us know this room’s being replaced in November 2022, so if you’re interested, plan to play it soon!
TH3 C0D3Escapology - DenverEscape roomIRLA fairly basic room with a few logical leaps required for puzzles and some tech that’s a little cludgy, which dragged out our experience when it didn’t activate the first time it should have. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 people, as there’s not enough to do for more experienced escapers than that. Decent production value, but a very straightforward room.
Uncle Tick Tock's Circus - CLOSEDThe Grape EscapeEscape roomIRLVery well-designed room with hosts who definitely care about escape rooms. The room had one finicky element, but there was ample guidance around interacting with it. I loved how things came together and how the room made use of things I wouldn’t usually expect to be relevant.
Cursed - CLOSEDConundroom - Downtown ParkEscape roomIRLA fun enough room, but it was somewhat lacking in variety. The room had a different hint system than I’ve seen elsewhere which felt like it reduced the barrier for entry around asking for hints. Believe the advertising, this is definitely a room for 2 people, and probably a good entry level room.
Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLLots of different types of puzzles, and great for letting the team split up and work on different puzzles before coming back together to move forward. We went with 6, and didn’t feel like we were stepping on each others’ toes. Just a fun room.
The CourtyardTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLA very well-themed room, with at least one member of the team needing to do some physical activity (which I thought was super well designed), and a live actor who can be engaged with or ignored as the players desire. It’s been a couple years, but I still think back positively on my experience in this room.
