This room comes so close to being one that we’d have enjoyed. The set is great, a good chunk of the puzzles are good, it has transitions and changing situations, but for us the whole room was let down by two interconnected tasks. We lost 20 minutes attempting these tasks, which in the end the GM allowed us to skip as it was just frustrating. With changes to this room, it could be brilliant.

A typical Escapologic set; fantastic detail and immersion that really takes you to a dark and dingy room with a contraption at centre stage. A great game with some clever puzzles, the only thing that felt a little negative was the climax of the game being a little flat. Nonetheless, this is a typical escapologic game and one not to be missed!

This room is possibly the smallest we’ve played, but the size of space does not in any way reflect on the quality and quantity of puzzles. Through clever methods, this room evolves at every stage, and has some neat little surprises. Cool story, could have been driven a little harder and been a little scarier! All in all, it’s excellent still, and totally worth a visit!

Another excellent offering by Clue HQ, this room gives a lot for such a small environment. The puzzles throughout were well placed with some good pacing through the room. As is always the case at Clue HQ, the staff were excellent and make your visit a blast!

A fairly basic set design, yet with good variety in puzzles. The room is starting to look a little aged and could do with some TLC, but the gameplay still holds up well.

This game was great fun. A huge fan of games that transition from one place to another in a fun way, and this game totally did that. Cool sets, fun puzzles, and excellent staff made this game a great experience.

A really fun and typical Escapologic game. A little easier than some of their other excellent rooms, but with fun movement throughout the game this escape really sprawls and has some great moments. Would recommend as a good introduction to the escape games community!

Puzzles aplenty in this dark room. The transitional points of the game from set to set were really cool, and the spookiness adds to the fun of this game. To note: this game can be played without a live actor, as we requested this and had a great time!

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Love the transitional aspect of the game with moving through stages from the street to the shop and so on! Great set, attractive puzzles and a fun conclusion!

Definitely one of the better “witchcraft/wizard” games that we’ve played with a really nice immersive set design and some interesting puzzles. Good variety in types of locks, and a unique magical puzzle that is totally on theme!

Good puzzles set out in a nicely designed room. Not quite my taste in overall game/theming/aesthetics, but a good game nonetheless! We had a great time and would recommend it to those looking for a fun challenge.

Immersion value on this game is huge. If you visit Make Your Escape, play this game and Utopia back to back. The story flows and interlinks in such a neat way that you can truly buy in. The puzzles were good, but some may find difficult. A good game and well worth a visit!

Excellent utopian future style game with white washed walls and clinical feeling throughout. Use of technology here was superb with some excellent puzzles, and when played back to back with Dystopia at Make Your Escape, the entire experience is incredible. A must visit in Derby!

A great game, with PLENTY of puzzles. We did this as a 4 and knew we’d done it by the end! The build up to the final puzzle is ace, with a really fun theatrical finale to get stuck in to.

One of the best we’ve played. Incredible environment (as is expected with Escapologic), awesome puzzles, and a very clever use of space. Not the easiest of rooms, but a great challenge for those looking to push themselves!
