Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLAbsolutely LOVED this room! Everything from the theme and puzzles, to the GM interaction. I can’t recommend this room enough!!! The best room I’ve played to date by FAR. Neighborhood Watcher has such a wonderfully simple set design for the theme. It isn’t incredibly flashy, but it’s exactly what it needs to be to make you feel like you’re in the story. Every puzzle made sense and was very on theme for the room. Nothing felt out of place or unnecessary and the room didn’t feel bare either. The GM was the best part. She really made the room come alive with her interaction and the characters she played. Rebeca was the absolute best!
Castle FlüffendorEscape Artist Greenville - Hampton StationEscape roomIRLI cannot praise Escape Artist Greenville highly enough!! The experience begins the moment you walk in the lobby door!! Castle Flüffendor is a wonderfully whimsical game. It’s fun, interesting, and unlike anything you’ve ever played. You HAVE to check this place out. Everything from set design, to puzzle flow, and even professionalism and talent from the staff is top notch. I can’t recommend anything other than playing the whole Chimera Corps Saga if you can!
The Quest For The Last DragonThe LOST Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAbsolutely AMAZING!!!! Incredible design, great immersion, and amazing game master communication in this room (I would say how but I don’t want to spoil any surprises). Would recommend to anyone wanting to play an escape room. This one really sets the bar high
End Of The LineThe LOST Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAbsolutely love The Lost! My favorite place I’ve been so far!
Deadman's BountyLocked & CodedEscape roomIRLThe atmosphere and theme were awesome and I really enjoyed most of the puzzles in this room! There were one or two puzzles that I hadn’t seen in any other room I’ve played, and I really enjoyed them. It was mostly mechanical, but there were a few high tech puzzles that were fun and interesting. The only downside of the room was that every mechanical lock is a 4-digit code, so there is no variety in locks. Again, the puzzles themselves were really good, but the massive amounts of the same lock can disrupt the flow of the room. We would get a code and then have to try 10+ of the exact same lock, sometimes missing one or two because there were so many available to us. However, I certainly wouldn’t let that discourage you from playing this game, it was definitely worth it, and we plan to go back to play their others. One of the owners was at the front desk and he was very nice and welcoming. All the staff we interacted with seemed kind and friendly too. Our Game Master, who we didn’t interact with before or after our game (aside from a picture), gave us A LOT of hints. We didn’t ask for any hints, but we were getting them every 5 minutes or so. We totally understand getting nudges or a little help when we need it, and we’re all for that, but we were getting a lot of hints that were really more answers than anything else. We felt sort of pushed at times, especially because we escaped with 10 minutes left. We felt we could’ve spent a little more time on certain puzzles without the GM telling us what to do. However, we could’ve asked for them to only give us hints if we were falling behind. Overall it’s a really fun room with a great atmosphere and nice people. I would suggest stopping by and giving it a try. Plus, who doesn’t love pirates?
Mansion MurderEscapology - Myrtle BeachEscape roomIRLMansion Murder falls somewhere on the scale between like and dislike, but if I’m torn between the two ratings, I like to side with the less extreme choice (dislike or love) and go with a thumbs up. The story was integrated with the puzzles and the set design was definitely up to todays standards for an escape room. It did feel like the GMs weren’t paying much attention to our game (we were told we had 3 GMs so I’m wondering if they’re running multiple games at once). We had to wait 2-3 minutes for a clue and were then asked if we had done X yet or completed Y yet. Aside from that the staff was friendly, so no complaints there. One of the puzzles was broken, so we just received the information we needed when we got to it instead of interacting with the puzzle. Our group had 6 people, which made it very difficult for all of us to be effective or work on puzzles at the same time, however, I think the experience would be more enjoyable with a smaller group when all props are up and running as they should be, so I’m giving this one a thumbs up.

The Haunting: Secret Of The MansionSmoky Mountain Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI really enjoyed the ambiance, the set design, and the story that unfolds as you progress throughout the room. I liked the puzzles; they didn’t necessarily impress or disappoint. The only thing I didn’t like is that our GM was running another game at the same time. I understand that sometimes you have to do that, but as players it takes away from the experience. I will admit, I don’t feel like our hints suffered from our GM running 2 games, but it was in the back of my mind as I played. Very nice staff, and clean establishment. Would definitely go back for another game.
A Haunting at Winchester ManorTri-State EscapeEscape roomIRLOverall, the puzzles were fun and enjoyable and I really enjoyed the set design, but one thing was broken and another didn’t work as it should’ve and the GM had to come in to set it correctly. The GM was very nice, but he didn’t know the room and was giving us a hint for something we didn’t have yet which confused us and wasted some time. He was also unable to answer a question or two that we had at the end of the game about one of the puzzles. The first thing we were meant to unlock wasn’t reset and was just open, although it wasn’t necessarily a puzzle - just meant to show us how some of the puzzles/props would work. The atmosphere was cool and spooky with a story that unfolded as the game progressed. 4 or 5 puzzles that I really enjoyed solving. Climbing involved that was a little sketchy and worried me a bit at first, but it ended up seeming stable enough
Mothman MysteryTickers and TimbersEscape roomIRLI thought the room was a little bland when I first walked in but the decoration just got better and better as we progressed. I really enjoyed the flow of the room and the originality of the hometown monster “MothMan.” Our GM was great and we didn’t really get stuck on more than one or two puzzles for very long
