The Storykeeper
Locurio
Escape room
IRL
After not quite making it out the first time, we wanted to come back to redeem ourselves The owner, Summer, was absolutely amazing and accommodating and we’re sooo glad we came again. This room left me speechless… the storyline and flow are better than any escape room we’ve done. The set design is visually stunning, and the puzzles are unique and immersive. You can tell that every single detail about this room from start to finish was lovingly and skillfully crafted. I’m just blown away by the detail that went into the rooms, the story, snd the puzzles. If you’re in Seattle, The Storykeeper needs to be at the top of the list for rooms to do. It’s a beautiful and immersive story, not just an escape room. Thank you, Locurio!

This room (and the 2 at Locurio) were our two favourite locations during this trip to Seattle. The design and complexity of the set was just incredible. The puzzles were excellent and added to the immersion. There were definitely some puzzles that I had never seen, that were so whimsical and fun. The room itself was like being on a movie set with the coolest room surprises. I wish I could just stay there and play this room a few more times lol The hint delivery system was hilarious and the GM was fantastic. Now we want to do all the rest of the rooms too (we also did the fantastic "Mayan Ruins" in Gig Harbor). The rooms at Escape Hour are always top shelf

I absolutely loved this room from start to finish. It felt so well done, with very cool twists and turns, really great room design and a story that captivated us. It’s rare to find a room that has a story that just makes sense and is fun and easy to follow, and this room did that for me. I also love rooms that aren’t all tech, there is a lot of fun in opening locks, especially when it fits the theme like this does. This room was a great mixture of mechanical and tech, but honestly the story is so fun that I was just swept away in it!

There were 4 of us in this room. 3 of us usually flow really well together in escape rooms but we had one player who was a little difficult to work with. That being said, the room was just wonderful despite him lol! The puzzles are unique and creative, but where this room shines the most is in it’s fantastic set design. We loved it all. I didn’t think we’d do as well as we did!

I am so glad we got to do this room before we left seattle. There were 3 of us and the pace was perfect. It’s a 70 min room and we made it out in 61 min, so we felt it wasn’t too hard, but it was perfect for our team. Full of tons of fun props, amazing decor. We haven’t seen the movie but we want to now!

This room is visually stunning with some really cool puzzles but we were definitely finding ourselves really stuck and overwhelmed several times. The GM was always helpful when we asked but we still felt like we were struggling quite a bit. When we got out, I’m pretty sure we went a few minutes over our time but our GM told us we had 6 seconds left on the clock which was an awesome way to run a business. We didn’t feel like total failures when we left lol

This was a fun room with some really fantastic puzzles and moments that made us laugh too. The GM (owner?) really went out of her way and came in early so we could fit a game into our schedule (we were trying to catch a flight). I didn’t realize it’s a one room game or we would have picked one of the other two, but overall the puzzles were great and we definitely knew when we succeeded at the end, unlike other games that sometimes leave you wondering. We’ll definitely be back to play the other two when we’re back to Spokane!

I’m giving this a heart for the immersion alone and there were definitely a couple major “wow” factors. The flow was pretty good but the puzzles were overwhelming at times. This company has this odd way of choosing your own difficulty (in reality, they never really gave us a choice and I think just ran it at “average”. The problem with this method is it leaves a lot of puzzles that look like obvious puzzles that you don’t need to do so you feeling like you’re missing things.

Such a great experience… we loved the room, the unique and creative puzzles and our absolutely amazing GM, Hailey. She elevated this experience even more and we left with giant smiles and talked about this room for days after

Overall this is one of the better rooms in Vancouver. The decor and set design were exciting and fun. That being said I’m opposed to 45 min rooms. People are paying a chunk of money for an experience, and 45 min falls short, especially if the room is a 1 hr room in terms of difficulty. You’re setting paying customers up for failure.
