The set design is highly detailed and designed for terror at Knott’s Scary Farm. A few cons: the mazes are all very loud with sound effects and music that do little to add to the ambience of fear but do make you want to get out quicker. There is high amount of gore in most of the mazes. We generally prefer haunts that rely on spine-chilling creepiness rather than ritual slaughter. But to each their own. Cinema Slashers had a creative and interesting storyline. Very gory but definitely designed to invoke fear.

Chilling Chambers was our least favorite mostly for lack of a cohesive storyline.

Ghost Town streets was our favorite scare zone. Fully immersive with ghosts meandering out of the past to instill terror. The scare zones are scarier than the mazes and this was no exception.

    The set and costumes were top-notch. We loved the unique spin on the typical haunted carnival theme. This one was less gory than the other mazes. The actors at Dark Harbor are all excellent. They are fully in character and have clearly honed their craft of fright.

Eight Fingers Nine was, in our humble opinion, the best haunt in the park. Go see it!

Widows was spooky through and through and not recommended for anyone with fear of spiders. Loved the ending.
