The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
A really well-done room by Escape Ventures. Probably my favorite room of theirs.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final Meltdown
The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
It's such a beautiful room, it's a shame you don't have fun. Escape Ventures builds great rooms, but I feel they missed the mark on this one. I'm clearly in the minority, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Many people like this game, it just wasn't my kind of room.
Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' Plotz
Doldrick's Escape Room
Escape room
IRL
Crazy Train was a mind-blowing work of art. The amount of time and effort spent creating this masterpiece is astounding. There are lots of fun animations and great use of projector mapping that Doldricks is known for. The game was the perfect difficulty level for an enthusiast.

Boxed In Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
This is the best room I've ever played. I've done escape rooms all over the country, but none were as immersive as this one. Stepping into the room felt like the scene from Coraline when she walks "around the world" in the land of the evil mother. I was entirely inside a new dimension. The puzzles were intuitive, no outside knowledge was required, and they flowed seamlessly. If you walked through the game and stopped at every puzzle, you would be able to find an answer to the question, "How would I know to do that?" – a question all of us veteran escape room enthusiasts have wondered at many points in our lives. The set design was the best in the business. Every sense was used. It was as high-tech as anyone could ask for in a room, and it will be a hard room to top for me.
Disappearance: Last Location
Will To Escape - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
Disappearance is the only game at Will to Escape that was created in-house. It's well done and worth the visit. One thing that is difficult when building an escape room is trying to create puzzles and elements that complement the story and make sense for the scene. This game pulled it off, which is worth a heart. I'm excited to see what they can build next, as this was a great first-room build.

Escape Artist Greenville - Downtown
Escape room
IRL
What can be said that hasn't already been said? Escape Artists has some of the best rooms you'll ever play. I can't think of a single thing I disliked. This company is setting the bar for the industry extremely high. Throw a dart at a map of their games, and you'll play an amazing room, but this one stood out as my favorite.

Boxed In Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
This room was so much fun. Everything flowed well, and there were many easter eggs throughout the game. We got tripped up on some easy puzzles that made us laugh when we realized our mistake, but we made it in the nick of time. Millennials will enjoy this room a lot! Younger kids will miss out on the subtle references and may have difficulty with some puzzles, but this one is a must-do for millennials! Every puzzle flowed nicely, as with all of the games at Boxed In, and I will remember this room for years to come.
Outage: No Vacancy
The Escape Ventures - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
Outage was a great room. Escape Ventures basically dominates the Orlando area, so it's no surprise they created another great room.
Escape IT - The Sewers
Escape IT
Escape room
IRL
A lot of people told me this game wasn't a real escape room. But I disagree. This is a very interactive escape room, and it is one of the best in Las Vegas. Must do.

Boxed In Escape Rooms
Escape room

We enjoyed the three rooms we did at this location so much we couldn't leave without finishing them all. We signed up for another Christmas room to add to our repertoire. The room did not disappoint, and despite being fatigued from the last three games, we did pretty well. The puzzles all made sense, and the special effects in the room were really fun. Boxed in has really enjoyable ways of hiding codes. This room ended up being one of the favorites of the trip, and you can't go wrong with it.
