My one criticism is that some of the puzzles were unforgiving, in that you had to be very precise with the dials and such, but otherwise, it was a very good room.

The Notorious SpeakeasyAmazing Escape Room - PrincetonEscape roomIRLI just can't appreciate this place's policy that you can't get clues at the first 10 minutes or last 10 minutes, and you have to wait 10 minutes between clues. This escape room had a puzzle that required you to press a certain number of colored buttons a number of times. The problem? Some buttons needed to be pressed more than once, and some needed more than one button of the same color pressed at once. We're talking WAY too permutations, and the clues aren't good enough. Add in the 10 minute clue rule, and you either know exactly they're looking for, or you're screwed. I'm really hoping that other Amazing Escape locations don't have this rule, because I'd love to try another location by this company.

Having said that, for those who don't know English, I can understand their frustration. I had fun with this escape room. Very innovative puzzles. The one issue is that it's a bit linear, they even tell you that. I still had fun, and production values were pretty good. We did accidentally unlock the door when we hung someone on a rack, not sure what happened.
Prison BreakRed Door Escape Room - San MateoEscape roomIRLIt's so sad, this is the first Escape room I've not escaped from, and only one from Red Door I've failed in, got stuck in the last puzzle. Was it fun? Yes. Production values were great, as normal for Red Door.
