The City of AshesKomnata QuestEscape roomIRLI thought this was a terrible room. The puzzles were arbitrary and so were their solutions. They tried to make it spooky by being dark, but this was way over the top. In addition, some of the sound pieces to the puzzles were broken and the game host was arguing with me they weren't. Honestly, this room just was a miss, the host was bad. She didn't have a pulse on the room and was nowhere to be found when you needed a clue or something wasn't working.
ShrineEscape OpsEscape roomIRLThis room had such a nostalgic great theme. There were moments that felt like I was literally living my favorite video game. I had a blast and laughed at so many moments, including those little things that surprised you but we're perfectly thematic.

It was neat where there were multiple senses involved in the rooms, and it felt really fun to transition through seasons, and of course as you would expect this mirrored in the set design. Good puzzles, well rounded room.

Phil And Jerry's Treehouse Takedown - CLOSEDRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLOf all the rooms, this room was definitely creative. The set immersion,as well as it being a hosted room really made this a great experience. The host themselves was also phenomenal, and I think enjoyed hosting the room almost as much as we had playing it. Such a giggle to feel like a kid in a tree house living out a fun story.

Overall, it had a great feel and neat outcome and story line. Any room that delivers on the narrative with good puzzles, is a top tier room.
