There was some really interesting tech inside and it had some pretty interesting. Twists. Our game master Dani was really fun and we can't wait to get back to try their other two rooms and we look forward to seeing the rooms that they are currently building
Jewel of the SeaIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was the first of two rooms that we played on the same day at intrepid escape rooms. From the moment we arrived, we found ourselves in a very cute lobby and we were greeted by our extremely nice game master Lindsay. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the small details like the fun way that you get to your escape room which I won't spoil. Once inside the room had Hollywood level detail. We encountered lots of puzzles that we had never seen before and the hint system was really cool. This is one of our all-time favorite rooms. We can't wait to get back and try the other two and we're excited to see what they do with the two rooms that are being built right now
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLWe had such a great time with this room! The scenery was Hollywood level. We thought we had just walked into a certain wizard school from the movies. The puzzles were really fun and the tech was pretty wild. We will definitely be back to play their other room.
Tesla's Doomsday DeviceMindTrix Escape Room GamesEscape roomIRLI would love to start by sending a shout-out to the owner Mike. When we are traveling we love to check out the local escape rooms. After lunch we picked Tesla's Doomsday Device and I went to book it on their website. I'm not sure how I did it, but somehow I booked the wrong room. In a panic I called in and talked to Mike (the owner) and he was awesome. He modified the reservation and put us back in the right room. If you have never been to this location before, it is located right next to the Dicks sporting goods inside the mall. When we arrived we were greeted by our GM Victoria. The energy level was high and we knew we were in for a great time. We went over the usual things and then Victoria transformed into a character and led us back to the room. The room is cute. Not super overly decorated but there is plenty to tell the story. There is some really neat tech in there. Things that we have never seen in a room before. It was also my sister-in-law's 3rd room ever. She really enjoyed it and this was a cool way to show her some true tech puzzles. We wish that we didn't live so far away because we would love to play in their other rooms. Well done guys!

You could definitely tell that a lot of love went into the making of this room. We will be coming back all the way from southern California when their next room opens.
The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLReally fun and unique room. We got a little hung up on a couple puzzles, but once we caught on we were all set. The decor is amazing and the layout is really fun. We saw a couple boneheads complain about getting kicked out for taking photos, but that is clearly listed in the rules video
Blackout Experience: A Game in the DarkBrainy ActzEscape roomOther Our GM was really nice and helpful. The blackout experience is really unique. It's not often that you are in pretty much complete darkness. You really need to work together with your team and have excellent communication to make it through this one! It's a good thing that it's not timed because it took us a second to adapt and get things started.
Escape IT - The SewersEscape ITEscape roomIRLAbsolutely brilliant!!! Everything from the sets to the live actors to the special effects were to notch. This is my all time favorite escape room at the moment. We can't wait to get back to play the the other room!

The Hex RoomCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLthe hex room was wild! decor and puzzles were top notch. this was our first time doing a separated start and having characters and that definitely ramps things up a bit! Kailey is a super fun and helpful GM. We will definitely be back!
