The Savannah SpeakeasyThe Escape CompanyEscape roomIRLI generally enjoyed this room; however - there are a few notes. I saw reviews before doing the room that there was a concern with one of the puzzles being difficult for shorter individuals. I have to reiterate that point. While I am 6’4, none of the other 4 individuals I did the room with were able to easily solve the puzzle without my assistance. Additionally, there is a puzzle in the room that is currently broken - so it is not being used as part of the room. I wish the company would cover or block this puzzle until it is fixed so people don’t spend time on it thinking it’s still part of the room. Overall - the puzzles were relatively straightforward, but we enjoyed the room and I think it’s a good to start for beginners. Would recommend.
Le Taxidermiste [The Taxidermist]Deep InsideEscape roomIRL“The Taxidermist” within Deep Inside’s “City of Martyrs” is a masterpiece. From beautifully crafted set pieces, to stunning costumes, and an emotionally crafted story, it is easy to see why TERPECA rated this room #12 in the world. We had a really fun time engaging with the puzzles and story of this room, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. I look forward to trying Deep Inside’s other adventures upon return. The room flowed well, had creative, interactive, and straight up fun puzzles to engage with. The staff were absolutely wonderful and did a great job leading us through the experience.
Level99 Rooms [Interactive Arcade]Level99Escape roomOther This place is awesome - would recommend it to everyone, but if you can, head there late afternoon on a weeknight. Kids overwhelm the place on weekends.
MagnificoEscaparium - LavalEscape roomIRLThere’s a reason they ranked this room #1 in the world…..truly like nothing I’ve seen before and I don’t expect to be “wow-ed” like this ever again unless it’s coming from this company. They really have figured out the winning formula and continue to out-do themselves in what most would find an impossible task. Words cannot do this room justice as it is simply something you must experience to understand. Live actors, incredible set design, fun and engaging puzzles. If you enjoy escape rooms - you must come and experience the wonders and attractions of Magnifico’s Circus for yourself.
Storyteller's SecretBoxarooEscape roomIRLAbsolutely top-notch room. Would recommend doing with 2-3 players to make sure everyone has something to do, but very well thought out and connected room. One of my favorite rooms in Boston.
Witch's HollowStained Hourglass Escapes LLC.Escape roomIRLI thought this was a very well done room. The theme was fun, plenty of well-designed puzzles, and it flowed great. Would recommend.
The Boring OfficeStained Hourglass Escapes LLC.Escape roomIRLOverall - I thought this room had some very innovative puzzles. There was one part in the middle of the room that I think is a bit too abstract where we were stuck for the majority of our time. Other than that, beautiful design and very fun experience.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - DedhamEscape roomIRLThe Escape Game always creates fun and engaging escape room experiences. Would recommend for all ages.
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - NYC MidtownEscape roomIRLThe set design here was epic. The room has a few pieces that are very interactive which was incredible to experience. Overall - the room was a bit of a let down in size and can be tough with a larger group simply because too many people are talking over each other and little details are missed.
漆黒の悟り [Shadow Zen]Studio Escape Daikoku-choEscape roomIRLAbsolutely epic set design and one of the funnest final puzzles Ive ever experienced. My girlfriend & I did this one together and I truly think 2 (maybe 3 if you must) is the perfect number for this room. We had such a fun time. I loved the flow and unique creativity infused into the puzzle design here. Would recommend and honestly wish I could experience again for the first time.
Witching HourTrapology BostonEscape roomIRLChallenging puzzles and tons of items to solve - left very satisfied
Prison BreakThe Escape Game - DedhamEscape roomIRLI thought the room was well-thought out and an enjoyable experience. I think a few of the puzzles could have been designed better, but overall a solid room and incredible set design.
The Retreat - CLOSEDTrapology BostonEscape roomIRLI think the space was a little tight for 5-6 people, and certain puzzles could have been designed better, but overall nice room.
The Hot Dog HeistTrapology BostonEscape roomIRLVery much enjoyed the theme and flow of the room here.
La Cathédrale Oubliée [The Forgotten Cathedral]Escaparium - LavalEscape roomIRLThey say you never forget your first…..Catedral was the first room I did at Escaparium. It set the bar HIGH. I think this room may have my favorite set design of all time. A ridiculous amount of puzzles, fun storyline, and incredible experience all around.
Armoire à Vendre [Wardrobe for Sale]Escaparium - LavalEscape roomIRLA timeless classic. Escaparium’s original claim to fame. You can’t go wrong.
Disparue [Missing]Enigma-TicEscape roomIRLMaybe it was just an off day but it really didn’t feel like the puzzles flowed super well here. Was expecting a bit more but felt like the room was sold on the “stranger things” experience vs. room quality.
La Nuit du Loup et du Serpent [The Night of the Wolf and the Serpent]SOS Aventures - Saint-JérômeEscape roomIRLSome of the coolest set design I’ve ever seen. I think a few of the puzzles took some stretch thinking but overall definitely would recommend the room.
The Game MuseumBangor Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThe overall room was definitely cool and fun, but some of the puzzles clearly needed updating/refurbishing as they did not function as intended which was disappointing.
