It had some similar puzzles to another room called tiki room but this had a much better ending and stronger theme. It was great to be able to do several puzzles at once towards once goal, there wasn’t much bottlenecking until the end, which was good.
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLThis room was very well designed and thought out. All the puzzles were so much fun, the atmosphere made you feel like you were a real wizard student. If you love Harry Potter and pretending to be a wizard, this is very close to living out those dreams. My only criticism was that there was a part of the room, that bottlenecks because the puzzle was only big enough for 2 people to really do and during this puzzles there nothing else for others to do. The of the group may need to wait until the puzzle is complete, which is a perfect time for the rest of the group to admire all the detailed decorations in the rooms. It was such a fun room, I’m thinking about doing it again because the first group I went with did most of the puzzles and I don’t remember a lot of it. So I’m excited for the possibility of that, also excited the goblin’s secret room.
The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis was a fun and very well designed room, there are a few different puzzles, which were fairly logical. I loved that the puzzles were linear, so it was easy to know when a puzzle was completed or not.
Here, Kitty KittyEscape Room LAEscape roomIRLVery unique and fun room, I’m not a fan of the horror or scary themed rooms so this one was perfect for me. Full of cute and clever puzzles that fit the theme and environment. This was definitely family friendly and a breath of fresh air because it’s just fun and not stressful where I’m worried about something scary popping out at me. This room was very well thought out and everything worked amazingly. Our group had lots of fun!! Definitely recommend because whiskers is super cute! You’ll have to help midge find whiskers to get a glimpse of that cat he’s a tricky one to find.
Whatever Happened To The Garretts?Maze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLGreat story line, the room was very well designed and fun. There were some tricky puzzles, but very creative. We really enjoyed the room, and had a lot of fun.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLLoved this room, it made me feel like a kid again. The puzzles aren’t too hard, but there were a lot of puzzles and a lot to do so the more players the better cause it does take time. It was so fun and interesting.
Black DragonEscape Room LAEscape roomIRLThis room was very well designed, the details in the room to make you feel like you are transported to the back ally of Hong Kong. They puzzles were fun and related to the room, it was so fun.
RevolutionNo. 1 Escapes - Main StEscape roomIRLThe room was ok, there were some parts of the puzzle that seemed as though there could’ve been more. Also, the room maxes at 12 but that’s too many people for that room, we had 9 but we think the max should be 2 - 6 or 7 people, the sweet spot is probably 6 people. The draw isn’t very captivating, it’s not introduced with much excitement because you read the story off the screen at the beginning. The story is interesting but needs to be presented better. I didn’t love the room, but our group still had fun.
