The Starlight Motel
Escape Artist Greenville - Downtown
Escape room
IRL
If you've ever felt like motels were bad places where bad things go down then this room will further solidify this belief. You're sent in to look into the disappearance of a detective who was investigating some happenings at the Starlight Motel. From the moment the introduction begins everyone is in character. You walk up to a disgusting looking motel front door where you're let in and you are then greeted by Lou, and this is where the fun begins. The room is decorated from floor to ceiling, multi-room, and interactive. There are a few unique puzzles that I haven't seen anywhere else. You're never truly prepared for what comes next in this room and that adds to the suspenseful atmosphere. A wonderful room that I recommend to anyone looking for something suspenseful, deep, and unsettling.

Edgar Allen Poe fans rejoice, this is the room for you. A fully decorated set from floor to ceiling this multi-room Victorian mansion in a Gothic style is full of immersive fun and puzzles. The flow is immaculate, with each puzzle and clue gently guiding you around. A narrative theming makes this room a very poetic and living story experience; really setting the tone. While the lighting is dim there are areas of brighter light where you can take things to make reading easier. Puzzles are intuitive while also being challenging and completely in theme. This also isn't a strictly timed room and it adds to the experience you take your time enjoying the atmosphere. Space can be a little tight at times with 6 people but there is plenty to do still throughout the experience for a group of 6. Overall, this is my top escape room to date and will be extremely hard to top.

A fun mishmosh of puzzles! The story was cute and had a comedic twist that you'll never see coming. Many new puzzles that I haven't seen elsewhere before. The flow is good and there is enough to do for even a larger group. Super unique hint delivery system to boot! Very fun and enjoyable experience that I would recommend to most people. Personally wouldn't throw a bunch of new players into it but if you've done at least a handful of rooms you'll have a good time.

Very fun room! Just like being back in grade school again. Tons of colors, entertainment, and makes you feel like a kid. There is a ton to do but not a lot of space so 4-6 people is a good number although you can accommodate more. Really enjoyable experience and it is just as much fun for adults as it is for kids!

Fun room with a unique theme and puzzles. Different than most rooms but still a good time. The theme is cool and creative. The flow is nice and appropriate for the space and room. Would recommend this room to more experienced players as I can see it being quite difficult with newer players.
