PlaguedScram Escape Rooms PenrithEscape roomIRLPlagued was the first room we have done at Scram, and we highly enjoyed it. With live actors and jump scares, this room was taken to a whole new level. The storyline is shown all the way through. You have multiple rooms to work your way through, solving numerous puzzles along the way. Some can be completed at the same time but others had to be completed in order. The stuff was realistic and there were many different styles of puzzles in this room. Staff were friendly and we had a great experience. Highly recommended.
The InheritanceNarrow Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLInheritance was one of the earlier escape rooms we have done. We did have to go into extra time to complete this room. Not having much experience in escape rooms at this time, there was a lot going on. Multiple puzzles could be completed at the same time, so we were all working on different puzzles to get to our goal. Dayna was our game master and she was absolutely lovely and added to the whole experience. With our experience behind us now would love to do this one again and hopefully complete it before time runs out this time. Highly recommended. Very hard for beginners but would suit experienced players.
Cold CaseMissing Klues Escape Rooms [prev. Revelation Puzzle Rooms]Escape roomIRLWe went 1.5 minutes into overtime for this one as we got stuck on one or two of the puzzles. One of the puzzles that was needed you had to have the cords in exactly the right spot for it to work, otherwise it was another great room. Absolutely loved how at the end of it they give you the statistics for how quickly you completed puzzles and show you the average time taken by other teams to complete each section. So of the sections we flew through and others we got hung up on. Some different puzzles in this one to what we have done before, lots of information to piece together. Staff member was friendly. Recommended.
MastermindFox in a Box - BowralEscape roomIRLMastermind was the 2nd room we completed at Fox in a Box Bowral. Out of the 4 rooms this would have to be our favourite. From having to move slowly to not set off alarms to having to cover yourself so you don’t set off the heat sensors, the whole gameplay was very immersive and fun. Your goal is to crack into the safe to get the diamonds. With a proper lock to get into the safe, it is very realistic. Absolutely love what they have done in this room. Staff are very friendly and add to the whole atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Life SentenceFox in a Box - BowralEscape roomIRLAbsolutely love these escape rooms. This was the first of the 4 rooms that we completed. It was the first time that we had actually been separated into two seperate rooms and we had to work as a team to get each other out. There was so much going on in this room and you had to work together. A brilliant room with so many different puzzles and gameplay. The room flowed really well. The setup was well executed, and we really loved the fact that the staff get dressed up and into character. Highly recommend Fox in the Box Bowral for all 4 of their escape rooms.
The BunkerFox in a Box - BowralEscape roomIRLThe Bunker was the 3rd room we completed at Fox in a Box Bowral. We took a newbie with us into this one, and it was a little overwhelming for their first ever escape room. However we enjoyed it immensely. There were so many different puzzles to complete in this room, and you had to correctly work your way through the sequence to get the final result. There were specific stations that had to be completed in order, to save the world. Love the staff here, love how they get in character before they take you into the room, as that just adds to the whole experience.
Zodiac KillerFox in a Box - BowralEscape roomIRLZodiac Killer was the 4th of the rooms we have completed at Fox in a Box Bowral. Once again it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly, get into character to take you into the room. They really add to the whole experience. You enter the room blindfolded and have to get your teammates out of the handcuffs you are all in. With multiple rooms, and puzzles that can be completed whilst working on other puzzles. The rooms just seem to flow. There are so many elements to complete before you can escape from the killers lair and before you and your teammates become the next victims. Highly recommended.
The Doll HouseEscape Reality - RowvilleEscape roomIRLWe visited The Dollhouse whilst on holidays in Melbourne. Loved this room. With flickering lights and the darkness closing in on you, loved the jump scares. Work your way from room to room with cryptic puzzles which will keep you guessing. Hidden clues and objects which can only be found from certain angles. The room we loved the most was room 2 as it contained some awesome puzzles and combinations to gain access to the dolls house. Very easy to overthink some things, but all in all a great experience. The owner was extremely easy to get along with and was after any feedback they could get for improvements. Highly recommend this room.
The DunnyEscape This - Manly Beach Sydney [prev. Room Eight]Escape roomIRLThe Dunny was another good room. We struggled a bit on one of the puzzles where you had to smell the cans to put them in the correct order, as there were 2 very similar smells and once you smell them over and over, it gets harder to differentiate. Very Australian with their theming, given that you are in an outback dunny. Loved some of the puzzles in this one. Staff were friendly. Recommended.
