The Weeping Witch
Cross Roads Escape Games
Escape room

Man, this was pretty damn good. Great setup by our GM Tara to get us immersed in the story. The room had a great scare factor but just the right amount to give you a sense of urgency to remove the curse and get the "EFF" outta there! Hint system was legit too. Really kept with the theme and it was up to us to use it our not. The puzzles made sense and were also really put together well. We were able to break off in a couple groups to complete things so no one was sitting around for our group of 5. Gotta be one of the best IMHO!

Room was very well done and fit the theme tremendously well. Some of the puzzles were unique which made for a fun team building experience. I would recommend this room to anyone. GMs were awesome and very friendly. They were very good at the little things to make your visit a bit more personalized. We felt very welcome and will definitely be back for their other room.

Yes. Do this room! Excellent story and decor. You really get immersed from the start. Some really good and unique gameplay in here and our GM was a superb host. Not much I can really say without giving away some fun moments here but think of this as a role reversal, where you are rats in the cage, while the rats are the ones testing you! We had a group of 6 but I think maybe 4 or 5 would work well. More than 7 might get a bit cramped in some places. Difficulty I'd say in the medium-hard range. Good for enthusiasts. Beginner's may find it a bit challenging in spots. Overall though, it was a blast and highly recommend.

Awesome! This was definitely a fun one. Puzzles were a real good mix and felt like our team of 6 were always busy with something to do. I would have to say that there were a number of challenging puzzles that really needed some time to work through, hence the 90 min time limit. But I felt for the most part, they were pretty rewarding. We were able to complete the 'tasks' asked of us with time to spare. Recommend this for enthusiats. May be difficult with beginners but if you get a good group of different skill levels, I think you'll do fine. Just try to keep things flowing. Definitely on the MUST DO list!

This was a lot of fun and a split start room, which I always enjoy doing. It's very unique as you could come back and replay this game in a different role. A spooky vibe with a sense of urgency to get out of this room, which made it very immersive. What I would suggest is be sure to read and fill out the questionaire thoroughly to let the GM know if there are any imparement or mobility issues and give you the best experience possible. Great teambuilding room. I highly recommend and we plan to come back again just for this room!

This was a real immersive room. GM Cody was very welcoming and generally interested in our team having a great time. We felt like we were in a school of magic and its well designed for all types of players, new or seasoned. Perfect for those into Harry Potter or looking for a fun time with friends or family. Music and sound effects really enhance the experience and they way you cast spells allows everyone to participate. If you haven't done this room yet, then put it on your to do list! Highly recommend!

Just wow. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the attention to detail, the sound effects and tech they had throughout the game. This escape room is fairly large too so you have plenty of space to move about. Also, a good split start and the puzzles were well thought out. A good sense of urgency and spookyness throughout. If you love horror themed rooms, this one is a must!

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. The decor is top notch so kudos to whomever designed the room. There was just 2 of us but we managed to escape with a few hints. The flow was good and the puzzles made sense. A couple of unique ones too, which kept us on our toes and we thoroughly enjoyed the progression to the end. We felt immersed in the story and like we were really on a pirate ship! Even the hint system fit well with the theme. Only issue we had though was the lighting in some areas. There is a light source to use but was not bright enough for my eyes. Had to really bring the light close to the locks for better view and accuaracy. But don't let that discourage you. This is a good one. If in the Palm Springs area or just visiting, I'd recommend this one for sure.

GM was very welcoming and in character during our start of the room. Really got us in the mindset and we had a blast. When you get to the main objective of this escape room there’s plenty to do for everyone. Allows the team split up and solve multiple puzzles at the same time. There’s a system in place to get us to try to complete the room in its entirety. Really had a fun and we all left feeling fulfilled once we escaped!
