Heist HavocRedacted Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe've done 150+ escape rooms and Redacted is doing things that we've never seen anywhere else! Super unique technology that fits extremely well into the story. Set construction was really solid and overall theme was super fun. Nick and the other owners were phenomenal! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Escape The Colosseum: The Underworld MazeThe Great Escape Room - ChicagoEscape roomIRLWe had a group of two and made it out. It is a 2 hour, progressive-style room with 30 minutes in each of four rooms. We were a walk in, so they started us a bit after our time. We hade it through the first room but then didn't finish the second room, but only because they pushed us through in less than 30 minutes, presumably to keep us on their schedule.
The Storm60 to Escape - MilwaukeeEscape roomIRLFun room with a fun concept! Well built. Lower overall number of puzzles, but some unique challenges.
The Carnival - CLOSEDLake Geneva Clue RoomEscape roomIRLFun experience even though the room build is SUPER low budget. It was in what seemed to be a storage space in the basement but the puzzles made sense, weren't too obtuse, and the flow and density were great.
ClueBreakout Games - BirminghamEscape roomIRLGreat experience all around! Felt like being in a game of Clue!
Containment60 to Escape - GurneeEscape roomIRLGreat experience! There were a few jump scares, but no live actors.
Jurassic Outpost60 to Escape - SchaumburgEscape roomIRLAs always, 60 to Escape doesn't disappoint! Immersion level was high, puzzle quality was high, and the level of difficulty was up there with some of the hardest games we've done. Unlike those other rooms, this room was difficult on purpose! Loved every second inside this room.
Tom's Bar - CLOSEDWest Bend Axe & EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was easily one of the worst ERs I've ever done. Nearly all the puzzles required outside knowledge, the room/props/puzzles were run down, the bartender/GM was friendly but not helpful. There was even one puzzle that required thing-X to go into thing-Y. We knew what we needed like 5 minutes into the room. About 30 minutes in, the GM asked us a simple question about thing-Y and when we gave her the correct answer she just handed us thing-X. What a terrible way to time-gate a room!
