I don't know if it was the "type" of puzzles but this one was tough. We "won" with plenty of time left but we also made some great choices during the game that helped us.

Best kitchen genre game I have played. I would say if you can find another game or two in the area this is a destination type game.
Cinema 7Will To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLI was very interested in this game because of the reviews and awards. On the positive side, i did enjoy the story. It was creepy and interesting. However I cannot give it a glowing review. While it is interesting, it is aging, the game master was not attentive and the location was difficult to navigate.
Murder MansionCountdown GamesEscape roomIRLThis is a fun game, my favorite of the games I played at this location. There is a lot to like here. I will say some of the tech was glitching the day we played but it was still a great experience. It was a really good mix of difficult, and easy puzzles. Our game host was fantastic. The facility is impressive and unlike any I have been. My only con is that one very time consuming puzzle could be done by two folks and it was VERY time consuming. I don't know how they fix this.
Ghost TownCountdown GamesEscape roomIRLI think this is the other can't miss game at Countdown. The puzzles were fun and there is an element I have never seen in any of my 125 plus escape rooms. I wish they had added a little more "spooky" but it was a great room. Not a difficult room but interesting and cool enough that you will not be disappointed.
The Pirate ShipCountdown GamesEscape roomIRLOkay so....mixed review. Overall a game you should check out if you are at Countdown. If you love atmosphere don't miss this one. Loved: The set (I have played many pirate themed rooms, this one is easily #2). The final puzzle. On the other hand there were not a lot of puzzles, they were all just time consuming. Overall this is a borderline Love/ Like......I lean like but I would reccomend playing it as an appetizer to Murder Mansion or Ghost Town.
The CastleCountdown GamesEscape roomIRLThe set is very impressive. The look is very cool.....There are a couple of fun puzzles, some good effects. But honestly this is only a like for me. The room felt like a big scavenger hunt, where you are looking for things not solving thigs. I still give it a like based on the look alone, but I would chose another game at this facility if given another chance to pick over.

EspionageThe Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI would say this is 100% a first generation escape room. It is older, but has aged well. The group I played with really liked it. I thought there were too few puzzles as my team of three escaped with over 30 minutes to spare.
PastaWayMurfreesboro Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOkay....I liked this room. The story was fun, the puzzles made sense and it was a great appetizer or dessert type game. If I were playing it alone I would not feel satisfied. It is clearly an older room, and some of the electronics either were not working smoothly, or they were supposed to be triggered by the host who was not always paying attention.. The host had to enter the room once to hep something open. Again I liked the story, the room was clever. I think it needs some TLC.
Christmas Crunchtime - CLOSEDMurfreesboro Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI was aware this was going to be an easier room. I will say this. If you have kids and you have never done escape rooms with them, this is an intro room. This room needs some love and care. It also needs more personality. I mean how hard is it to make a Christmas theme room look and feel spectacular? I played this room with my son and while we cruised through it we got tripped up a couple of times because the room itself was worn and torn.
Game NightCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLWow! How this one is not getting more love during award season is beyond me. So nostalgic, so whimsical. The ending! For fans of the 80's and Dungeons and Dragons, you cannot miss this room. I know Forrest of Fables is the "major attraction" at CU, but my group of four felt like "Game Night" was a close second, and one of us preferred it. Lots to love here. The moment we walked in, we were hooked. LOVED!
Rise Of The IcarusCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLWhew, we barely made it out of this one. Lots of fun to be had here, with an immersive set. I am not an "Outer Space" game fan in general, but this one is probably my favorite of the ones I have played. Fun story......GREAT HOST....Eric was fantastic. I knew we were cutting it close and the sheer amount of puzzles made me so stressed I had a hard time relaxing and just enjoying the experience. This feels like at 75 minute room. Regardless a fantastic room.
Revenge Of The CabinCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLI have played probably ten or so spooky cabin games. This is my favorite. The last puzzle code alone blew our minds! So clever! Not the most difficult game, but challenging enough for four veteran players to rush a little. CU is just one of the best escape room facilities in the States and every game is worth a play. Personally this is my third fav here.....and that is high praise because all the rooms here are fantastic. Was hoping for more scary than spooky....but got all I needed from this room to love it.
The Wizard's CurseCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLThis is a solid, good, room. It feels like a solid appetizer to the more entre type games at CU. Perhaps it suffers a little from comparison to the other rooms at CU, but like I said it was solid. Very good use of space and some very fun elements, especially our "host". We had an unusually hard time with THE VERY FIRST CLUE, which probably had to do with stepping out of a car after 7 hours of driving and straight into an escape room. Not the most difficult room, but not too easy either. I would suggest going ahead and playing the game especially if you are a completionist who needs to see eberything at CU.
The Forest of FablesCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLThis room was the reason my crew jumped into a van a drove hours to Illinois. Would it live up to it's award winning height? Yes it did....100%. Easily a new addition to my top five. Large, innovative, clever, and most importantly fun. Eric our game host was probably a GOAT game host for me Our team had an absolute blast, and there were a couple of things I did not expect. Brilliant storytelling and just an amazing set design made that drive feel well worth it.
The Man From BeyondStrange Bird ImmersiveEscape roomIRLI have been trying to get to Houston to play this for a while. It is certainly a fantastic room and easily jumps into my top 10. I will say I thought the "performance" aspect, especially near, the end drew on far too long. Would have preferred more game play, however that's just me being picky. This is a bucket list room for all escape room enthusiast. The actors were incredible and I do appreciate old school lock and key rooms.

I will say it was a borderline like/love for me. There was an element that was not working, and the location is kind of rough. I also do not usually enjoy "futuristic" games. But this one was great, and a can't miss if you are in Phoenix.
Henchmen’s HeistThe Nemesis ClubEscape roomIRLAmazing atmosphere, great set up. All the bells and whistles you can ask for. Great immersive story telling. We over thought a lot of the puzzles and ended up escaping by the skin of our teeth. The room also had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend.
The Isle of WonderThe Greatest EscapeEscape roomIRLFantastic room that folks are sleeping on. This one should be winning some acclaim. Played most of the award winning games in Phoenix last week. I ranked this one as a strong contender for the best. Fun atmosphere, great puzzles, just enough wow factor.
