Hotel Nocturnus - CLOSEDNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLI think this is the biggest and probably one of the best escape rooms in San Diego. Customers have to work thru several different areas that were modeled after just about every scary serial killer movie or serial killer in the world. Although no one jumps out at you, the special effects and jump scares made it a super special experience. Not knowing what was coming next makes for screaming and laughing and dares about who has to do what. This is a very active room and if you are squeamish or afraid of small spaces it probably isn't something you will enjoy. Be sure to ask the actor who accompanies you how to avoid areas. One of the most unique parts has to be the storyline that starts out with Jack the Ripper and takes you up to many famous serial killers. Make sure to pay attention to the intro video because the background details weave a really clever story. The entire atmosphere inside the huge area makes you feel like you are really in an old abandoned hotel. The puzzles all worked perfectly and the props are totally one-of-a-kind but they aren't like regular escape room puzzles so you might need help. The ending is a surprise.
Teleporter TrialsLock, Clock, and Peril Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was another great room by this business. The puzzles were uniquely done and the sets were epic. Highly recommend.
Down The Rabbit HoleThe Final DoorEscape roomIRLThe first part of this escape room can only be described as a vision leaving you wondering what will happen next but that is it. The rest does not deserve even worthy mention. The second half is kind of a letdown and needs improvement.
Last Chance - CLOSEDNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLIncredible room with games like no others. This escape room business has a way of making you feel like you're actually in an old gold mine. It is spooky but not scary. Highly recommend!
Quiz Boxing - CLOSEDNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomOther Had a fun time for a Friday family party and the space for food and drinks was an awesome addition.
Haunted Mansion EscapeSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLThe aesthetics in this escape room were well done but some of the boxes were broken and left unlocked so you got the piece but didn't understand why. Some of the puzzles didn't make sense in the room and felt like they were just thrown in as an afterthought to add time to the game. Overall it was a very underwhelming game and we expected more.
Mansion MurderEscapology - San DiegoEscape roomIRLNot a good experience. Broken and worn out features with print to small to read. Parking was easy but can not recommend.
The Clownatorium - CLOSEDNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLThis escape room business was among the first and keeps making its games the best as it keeps growing and expanding.
