The Chesapeake Bay ButcherColonial Escape RoomEscape roomIRL9.9/10 Easily one of the best blendings of the escape room and haunt industry of all time. When they are adequately staffed, this room is a nightmare (in a good way). I have played the room 3 times with three different groups of friends and I have watched 4 more groups play this game in the theater that have set up. After 7 interactions with this game in 1.5 years, I’m still excited about it and keep getting people to go back. First, it is a massive space and every inch is well used. Second, the scare is truly horrifying. Beyond touch you, I’m not sure what else they could do better to scare you. Third, the story is so great and the theming literally feels like Resident Evil 7 in real life. Go do this room now.

Definitely lots of nostalgia, but also just some really cool gameplay. This is the room that was recommended to me to even come try out ERH and they’ve been my top location ever since.

Nothing in the room felt out of theme. Super immersive. Temperature even matched the theme. I kinda wish I could live in this room. Completed with 0 hints.

Nightmare MansionEscape Nightmare MansionEscape roomIRL9.9/10 Well that was the most terrifying escape room I’ve ever done! To date, my top 5 of many escape rooms includes scary ones and this took the number 3 spot out of 87. It will be hard for another game to dislodge it. Part of my group was incapacitated with fear for a good portion of the game, but they powered through. Special effects were off the chain. Definitely the scariest game I’ve played. This was a great use of a haunted house when it’s not running. I could have done with like 25% satanic stuff, but still a very fun experience. Bring your brown pants.

Some of the puzzles were a little too obscure and some were skilled based as the equipment provided was not reliable. The story was neat and it felt like a very long experience, so it was time we’ll spent.
The ChosenCurtain Calls XscapeEscape roomIRL9.8/10 This game was AMAZING! Really well done puzzles. We missed some obvious things, but everything made sense. It definitely felt like an adventure. I’m glad we had some extra time to soak in the atmosphere. Nothing particularly scary, just creepy and full of gore. I love everything this company is doing.
