Drachenhöhle 2.0 [Dragon Cave 2.0]Open the DoorEscape roomIRLFantastic room with great, homemade set design. The puzzles were logical and made sense. It was decently challenging though we were able to work through everything with only one hint. Really enjoyed the various props throughout that made you feel immersed in the world they had created.
AmnesiaPuzzle Effect - PhoenixEscape roomIRLDecent room with mostly simple lock and key puzzles. We had a good time playing it but the theme/story wasn't especially interesting to me. The flow of the room was good and there were a variety of puzzles to solve using visual clues.
Inksidious - CLOSEDEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLThis was such a unique escape room with classic lock and key puzzles to solve. The theme was incredibly different than anything we've ever been in and the details were super cute. Game designer was really good at using visual clues to cue you towards what you needed. Really loved the vibes of the waiting room and the house cat was a nice surprise too! Tuesday is super nice and she was a great game master! Excited to come check out the Mush Room next time.
Mogollon Monster: Scouting for Arizona's BigfootThe Nemesis ClubEscape roomIRLQuite honestly the best escape room I've ever done. Quality and production value is extremely high. Puzzles were thematically on point. Can't wait to do Evil Robots next
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLAmazing room for Harry Potter fans! Did this with my daughter and sister and they had a blast. Great, reactive, on theme puzzles that made you really feel immersed in the world.
Gold RushThe Escape Game - Las Vegas Forum ShopsEscape roomIRLFun room with interesting puzzles. It does seem like there was a puzzle they may have removed that would have been fun involving a gun. Would prefer guaranteed private rooms, at least at non peak times. Had to reschedule a few times to get a slot that was private.
The Perfumer - CLOSEDQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLInteresting room that made you use your sense of smell to figure out some of the puzzles. To be honest it was a bit difficult for my wife and I as we don't have especially great senses of smell. Still fun!
Spellbound - CLOSEDGreat Room Escape - TempeEscape roomIRLOne of the few escape rooms we failed to escape. This room was extremely difficult but had great puzzles and set design. One part of it was especially surprising! Highly recommend. Game master told us we had 1 puzzle left to solve before getting it all. They do limit you to 3 hints which added to the challenge. There was a lot of construction going on as I think they were making a new room at the time but we were still able to enjoy the room.
Grim Stacks: Books & BindingPuzzle Effect - PhoenixEscape roomIRLIt was a well themed room that was fairly easy. My wife and I escaped in under 40 minutes but enjoyed the decor and the puzzles.
Curse on the Emerald SeasPuzzle Effect - PhoenixEscape roomIRLVery good theming and interesting puzzles. More challenging than grim stacks was at the same location. The room was very atmospheric.
Da Vinci's Challenge - CLOSEDQuest Room - KoreatownEscape roomIRLIncredibly difficult room with unique puzzles. Gamemaster acting was on point and really put us into the zone. They were also nice enough to give us a little extra time to finish the room as we were a few seconds over.
Quest to the Forbidden Temple | Chapter 1: The Secret GalleryDynamic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSuper fun room with a beautiful art gallery. The puzzles were plentiful though there were a couple that didn't seem to be thought out fully (we ended up getting it by doing random things). There were a few skill based challenges as well as things you had to tinker with to figure out. We came down to the last few minutes on this one and used quite a few hints.
The Spell Breakers - CLOSEDQuest Room - KoreatownEscape roomIRLSuper fun room to take my daughter to for her first escape room experience. The character in the room was hilarious and vibe was great. Had a lot of fun with this one!
Star Trek Discovery: Damage Control [prev. Star Trek: Quantum Filament] - CLOSEDEscapology - Town SquareEscape roomIRLHonestly, just awful. Broken tech. Uninspired puzzles. Does not make you feel immersed on a spaceship at all.
Antidote - CLOSEDEscapology - San DiegoEscape roomIRLRoom was too brightly little with few decorations. It honestly looked like it was slapped together as a school project.
Sal's CyberneticsThe Immersive MachineEscape roomIRLCame down to the wire and it was so exciting! Sal's cybernetics is a labor of love from the owner. You can tell that he loved to tinker with every bit of the room. We had a great convo with him about the plans for the immersive machine and are psyched to visit again. The tech in this room is more advanced than any I've ever been in. The puzzles were unique as well.
