The Asylum: PlaytimeLost GamesEscape roomIRLI don’t know why I struggled with this room as much as I did. Overall I did not enjoy the puzzles. There wasn’t one puzzle that we completed without a struggle. I felt like I never knew what I was trying to accomplish or do next. I can’t say enough how amazing the game master and staff are. The game itself just completely fell short for me. The interaction from the staff was great.

The game master was nice but they didn’t do a good job of giving useful clues, even when prompted. This room has potential however, it just doesn’t flow as well as some of its competitors.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - ConcordEscape roomIRLThis was one of my favorite rooms at the escape game. Only having three people added to the difficulty slightly but still a fun room. It’s definitely easier than some of their other rooms like the depths and prison break but still really fun. I would recommend any games TEG has to offer
Batman™: The Dark Knight ChallengeEscapology - CharlotteEscape roomIRLI was very excited to do this room. Aesthetically the room looks great. The first part of the puzzles were beyond simple, the second part was slightly more challenging. The last room you unlock is not good. We had things unlock that weren’t supposed to, then we got to a point where it said congratulations you succeeded but there were still two puzzles we never even touched. Our games master was not helpful (the manager was nice) but our game master didn’t even realize that the room skipped a lot. When we told her that we never got to open two of the bigger puzzles she said yes you did. We had to bring the manager in to show him that the room did malfunction. I was not impressed by the game play or the way this was handled. The only thing that is great about this room is the set and props.
MissingMasterpiece EscapesEscape roomIRLMasterpiece escapes never fails. They are by far the best escape rooms around. The overall setting and execution of the theme and each puzzle is amazing. This room is spectacular. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The Hidden Lab Mission - CLOSEDThe Valcarol MissionsEscape roomIRLMy biggest complaint about valcarol is they won’t let you book for just two players. Every group is private so you can’t join another party but you have to pay for 4 people even if you only have two. I understand this is necessary on nights where they are busy but when asked if we could wait and see if the room doesn’t get booked could we still play and pay for just 2 or even 3, we were told no. I feel like selling two or three tickets is better than none.
DraculaSherlock's Escape Rooms - Cold SpringEscape roomIRLOverall I enjoyed this room. I enjoyed the fact that it wasn’t linear and the room itself was a decent challenge. My only complaint is there were a few unnecessary challenges and clues that weren’t useful to the room itself. There were one or two jump scares that were unexpected. Overall, I enjoyed this experience.
North Pole Meltdown - CLOSEDEscape ArtistEscape roomIRLThis was decent when it debuted over 8 years ago but definitely not to today’s standards. It was fun during the Christmas holiday but overall a very simple and easy solvable room. Great for children or someone who hasn’t done many escape rooms
