Untold Stories Experiences [prev. Down the Hatch]

Mollys Game was reflective of it’s reputation. Completed with 5 minutes to spare with 2 people. A lot of these reviews cover the game in depth already so I’ll try and be brief. The set design was next level and the best we have ever seen. The GM told us the owner spent 22 months working 80 hour weeks to build it, and I didn’t doubt that for a minute. We saw things here we haven’t seen in any other escape room. The story was the best we have seen in an escape room, but with the stress of solving it in the moment we missed a lot of details. You should ask the GM for a story walk through at the end, it made the experience even better for us. Like some other posters we found a few of the puzzles repetitive and long. While they were unique some took 10-15 minutes of doing the same thing over and over again. None of the puzzles stood out as super unique or amazing but they were solid nonetheless. However you come to this room for the decor and the story the puzzles take second stage. Overall we loved this room, though it was a bit scary for our taste, but we shy away from the horror. We took great comfort knowing there were no live actors in the game. I can’t wait them to open their next room which apparently is approaching completion.

Man what a great room that lived up to its hype and expectations. Really fun story that even knowing going in had some twists and turns. The makers have definitely taken inspiration from Mollys Game and there were some like elements in the game between the two. This is a must do room if you are anywhere close. We also had one of the best GMs we have ever had. They did a perfect job keeping an eye on us and not helping when we didn’t need it but fixing things that were broken in the background before we even noticed. A+ work and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next

This is a Goonies themed room with a lot of 80s nostalgia built in. We felt the room was fun and creative and got a chance to live out one of our favorite movies. That said the story was a little weak and didn’t really make a ton of sense. The room was well built and had a lot of puzzles that were new and creative but we felt it went a little too fast with a couple of hard time sink puzzles in there. Overall a fun room and worth doing though

What a great game, we were a little skeptical with the low number of reviews when we did it but they really did a great job on the room. It was a hard room but certainly not expert and we easily cleared it with 2 people. The set design is stellar and made the room, we were open mouthed when we saw some of the things. The puzzles were all pretty good but felt like not too many, they could have gone with another one or two. Some were very time consuming to complete so it didn’t feel like too short of a game. Highly recommend especially if you like Harry Potter

What a fun room! From the start it’s different than most of the games we play. What really set it apart was the authentic and real decor using actual antiques, which made us nervous about breaking things. We did get stuck in a few places but GMs were handy with tips which kept us moving. The hardest part was figuring out what was part of the game and what was expensive antiques you shouldn’t be breaking. If we were more careless about their stuff it would have been easier. Escaped with a few minutes left with a team of 2 but it wasn’t an easy room by any means. Highly recommended

Fun room with really neat decor. Be prepared to climb all over things and get a workout. We did it with 2 people so we couldn’t do the extended version and it felt a bit easy and short. We got through the room 18 minutes before the time limit. Talking to the GM there is one puzzle that required 3 people in the extended version, which is why there is the limit. Overall a lot of fun but it did feel a bit too easy, especially compared their Alice in wonderland room. Another few puzzles would have helped a lot, but it’s a unique room with some new puzzles we hadn’t seen before

We did Hans revenge too and preferred that room. This room had great set design but a few of the puzzles were annoying in design and the GM didn’t seem very helpful in pushing us through when we got stuck. We narrowly escaped and the game should have probably been 10 mins longer. A few of the puzzles were just trying to find small hidden objects in a dark space, which is more annoying than fun. Some minor tweaks would definitely greatly improve the room but even so it was still very fun with a lot of twists and turns.
