Haunted house
No doubt, this is my personal favorite haunt in the area. I’m a big fan of what they did. Every haunt there tells a different story and they aren’t afraid to make the experience special. It shouldn’t just be scary, it should be an experience. A good haunt, like any form of storytelling, should have characters that have wants and needs beyond wearing makeup and going boo. The actors KILLED IT in this regard. Every single encounter was unique, every room felt like I was stumbling into their story. They weren’t afraid to interact with you in the story of the world and beyond funny improv. For example, I met a scarecrow that had a spell put on it that detached itself from its post and limped after us. But, the spell ran out and it fell to the floor, just a lump of hay. Thats SO unique. Highly recommend it.

Blood Thirsty

We did BloodThirsty as a family outing since we like spooky stuff and heard it was one of the better “scary” escape rooms in Omaha. Overall it was really great. I don’t think it’s a spoiler as it’s on their website, but half of us went in handcuffed & blindfolded with the other half trying to rescue us unfortunate “victims”. Going in blind was actually pretty scary and the fact that they said the “monsters” could jump out at any moment definitely had me on edge. They do have live actors in this room, be warned. But I appreciated that they asked us for our consent if we were okay with certain scares. The puzzles were harder than I expected for a horror room. Most scary rooms I’ve done usually are less complex and focus on the scares but BLOODTHIRSTY’S puzzles left a few of us stumped. The atmosphere was filled with a dark, grungy yet neon-scifi esthetic, which works for the story they’re trying to tell. Hints are almost always given in-character which adds an extra layer of immersion. Also the finale is tense, suspense and VERY satisfying. If you’re a horror escape room fan and in Omaha, I think BloodThirsty is well worth a play through.

This is one of their classic rooms, meaning it’s older but still a good challenge with an Egyptian theme.
