The Break Room: KrampusThe Lost Room Escape AdventuresEscape roomIRLThis was an exceptionally unique room that flowed well. All of the puzzle made sense so it wasn’t frustrating and there was a ton of content. The owner put a lot of time into his craft and it showed.
The Blind Tiger SpeakeasyThe Escape RoomEscape roomIRLGreat theme with a variety of puzzles that all worked. There was only one lock that was finicky. Felt like there were enough puzzles to fill the time well without being overly stressful.
DraculaNerd EscapesEscape roomIRLWell done room with good variety of puzzles that was perfect for four people. Some of the mechanical puzzles needed fine tuning but overall everything worked and was super enjoyable.
Magic LampGnome & RavenEscape roomIRLVery creative room with impressive theme. Puzzles allow you to spread out to solve so you aren’t all clustered around 1 thing. I recommend about 4 people for this room for the most fun/efficiency. We did intermediate difficulty but I feel like I could have increased that for more challenge. Only downside was low walls so you could hear people screaming from the next room constantly and that made communication and focus tough.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - DowntownEscape roomIRLGreat room with plenty of unique puzzles. It was not all linear but I wouldn’t reccomend a large group. We did it with two and loved our time but I wouldn’t reccomend more than 3 or 4. Had a blast with plenty of clever themes and hands on puzzles, both old school and new tech. Staff was extremely pleasant. Had some time to spare at the end but felt that there was plenty of content.
The Laboratory - CLOSEDLocked In - LouisvilleEscape roomIRLThe theme of this room was pretty fun. Not a ton going on in the room as far as theme it was pretty straightforward. There were a lot of throwaway clues and clues that unlocked multiple steps which got confusing. You have to make a fair amount of assumptions but you have all the tools to escape. Not a ton of hands on puzzles to work through. Staff was super helpful and had a very professional setup. It was a great idea for a room if you’re newer player but for more experienced players it left something to be desired.
