Island EscapeBreakout Games - RichmondEscape roomIRLThis is the first time I’ve ever done a room that was freshly opened. Usually you have some hiccups with the puzzles and mechanics with a new room. That was not the case here. Every puzzle worked perfectly without an issue. Our game master Monica was a pleasure to work with. They did an amazing job building this room. Great puzzles that flowed well together. Even if we over thought a few puzzles haha.
The ExperimentRoom 5280 - RaleighEscape roomIRLThe rooms here are older yes, but man this room was a lot of fun. There were a few times where I was overthinking puzzles. Heck there was a puzzle in here I’ve never seen before that blew my mind. Love all of the people that work there.

The ShowdownNerd EscapesEscape roomIRLI absolutely love this business and the people that work here. They are always so accommodating because I play solo on work trips. This room was an absolute blast. Definitely on the harder side when you are solo. Love the theme.
Prison BreakNerd EscapesEscape roomIRLI cannot describe how much I love these people. This room was incredible, just like the others. I absolutely love the immersion. You actually feel like you’re in prison. Cannot wait to experience more rooms with them.
Cabin 11Escape Room Virginia PeninsulaEscape roomIRLMan this room was really cool. You have to work to get the lights on. Struggled hard to get the flow. Once I did, I was able to move through the room quickly. Some really hard puzzles too. Love this room

This room did give me some trouble. Mainly because I was overthinking the easiest puzzles. A lot of the puzzles would make you think a ton. Which I loved.
Kidnapping 2: Afraid of the DarkBreakout Games - RichmondEscape roomIRLMy wife and I have never done a room quite like this. We had to really rely on teamwork. Being in the dark and having to work to get light was such a fun twist. You can tell they put serious thought into this room.

On one in particular, I needed a clue and once I figured it out, I could not believe it. Please go out of your way to experience this room.

Started to panic towards the end, but got it done. Thought the room flowed super well from beginning to end.

Clairvoyants Conundrum - CLOSEDRiver City Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWow this room is so unique and it has such an interesting theme. This is the smallest room they have at the moment. But I think this might actually me their hardest room now. What an awesome addiction to their already amazing business. This is one of the first rooms that uses call backs to every piece of the room to do the finale. Please go out of your way to experience this room.
Brewery HeistGreen Light Escape Room | The Breakout RoomEscape roomIRLWow !! This room was amazing. They recommend doing it with a group of at least 4 players and I completely understand why. We did it in a group of three and we had some challenges. But we were able to escape. This room really has you think about everything in the room. Puzzles are non linear. All I can say is wow ! Easily one of the better rooms I have done.
The AtticGreen Light Escape Room | The Breakout RoomEscape roomIRLMan this room was the right amount of spooky. This was my first scary room I have done and it did not disappoint. The scares happen when you don’t expect them to. Which added into the excitement of the room.

We had two people doing this room. I def recommend a group of 4. If you like a really cool twist on escape rooms, find a way to check this out.
