The LadderHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLUnfortunately when we experienced the room 4/5 rooms had something broken in them, one room was to the point where we literally had to stand there and do nothing because there wasn’t anything to do. Our gamemaster was nice but as soon as we got into the room the gamemaster gave us a clue which when we kept taking she would almost overthrow us talking so that we would hear her even though we wanted to try and solve the room ourselves. When the room was over we were given 30% of our payment back which kinda felt rude considering almost every room had something broken. I’m really disappointed because this was such a great idea for a room, but it was just not executed very well.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz13th Hour Escape Room - WhartonEscape roomIRLThis room is an absolute must do for all escape room fans and wizard of oz fans! The scenery and puzzles were amazing, I cannot express enough that if you’re in the area that you need to come and play this room!
A Quest For Freedom - CLOSEDOlde City Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis room was very well themed and really made me feel like I was back in 1776! My only gripe for this room is that some of the puzzles did not make sense on knowing that you were supposed to use that for the certain thing that you were trying to open, I wish that it was a little more clear, but it was overall a great room!
Thai PrisonMindEscapeEscape roomIRLOverall was a pretty fun room and our game master Helena was an absolute blast to have helping us through the game! I loved the beginning aspect of the room and the puzzles were pretty much mechanical but they did have some aspects of technology.
Bank Heist - CLOSEDBank Heist ExperienceEscape roomIRLOverall our experience was mid at best. The game flow was fine but there was a portion of the room that was broken and when we tried to open it they didn’t explicitly say you won’t go in there it’s broken they were very vague about it which really hi Derek the experience. I would definitely give it a try as it is a really unique style room considering it’s actually in a bank.
Level99 Rooms [Interactive Arcade]Level99Escape roomOther I absolutely loved level 99 it was such an amazing experience that was nothing like I’ve ever seen before. I liked that there were a mixture between mental and physical games so that everyone could also enjoy as well. You’ve gotta go to level 99!
Storyteller's SecretBoxarooEscape roomIRLSuch an amazing room, when you leave a room in shock and overall amazed you know it’s going to be a top room of yours and one you will not forget. They are truly right that this room is more a story but also maintained such an amazing escape room theme
Conundrum MuseumBoxarooEscape roomIRLAgain another amazing room at boxaroo such an amazing theme and the intro was the best intro I’ve seen to an escape room in my entire life. The room flowed amazingly and we understood what went to where and how that happened
Mystery of the Magician's StudyBoxarooEscape roomIRLAgain with the intros at boxaroo they are so amazing, definitely one of the best parts of the room! I think this room was such a fun room and different because I feel like the storyline was different in a way than what you would expect at other escape rooms.
The Body ShopRed Fox EscapesEscape roomIRLSuch an amazing room, wonderful sets and puzzles that made sense and the overall game flow worked so well such a great room that I think everyone should try!!
The ObservatoryThe Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLI didn’t know what to expect from this but wow was I surprised in the end. So cool and awesome game master and owner that helped us along the way. Definitely recommend for everyone to play
The Hot Dog HeistTrapology BostonEscape roomIRLI had a so so time with this room it didn’t really impress me but I also didn’t hate it. I would recommend people to go play there because their venue is really nice and have a lot of high tech elements in the rooms, however if you plan to play hot dog heist BE READY TO CRAWL it is a very physical room. I think my main disappointment with the room was the game flow because it felt like there was no indication on where to go with certain elements like not even subtle clues.
The Assistant 2.0The Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLSuch a great room it was so much fun and the flow of the puzzles worked so well we felt like we knew what went to what without it being way to obvious. 100% recommend The Gate Escape you can tell how much attention to detail they put in their rooms.
Pandemonium: A Darkly Comedic Murder MysteryEscape Games Live - YorkEscape roomIRLSo I liked this room but didn’t love it I think there was a little too much going on at certain points and some stuff felt out of order but the overall theming was so much fun with definitely an unexpected twist that you definitely do not expect. I would definitely recommend to give this room a try
Countdown - CLOSEDBates Motel Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThe set design was amazing very cool and some pretty cool lighting and technology throughout. Unfortunately though, the room was very disorganized and felt like all we did was follow a list of instructions. The staff was ok our gamemaster seemed very confused and felt like he didn’t know what to do he forgot to give us our flashlight and was asking us if we saw it anywhere when we got to the room and almost forgot to tell us how to get our clues until I asked him. The experience overall was ok definitely has a lot of potential but just didn’t seem to hit the mark
Sherlock Hunts Jack The Ripper - CLOSEDEscape Room LancasterEscape roomIRLThis room is very unorganized and I really just don’t think any escape room themed around Sherlock is good. The puzzles seemed like they were there just to have puzzles and didn’t really have any flow to them. The ending also was not that great there wasn’t a big reveal for say it was just kind of like ish hey they did it.
