The Hex Room
Cross Roads Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
The Hex Room is a must! The concept of having to escape a horror film is so interesting. Everyone got out and half of our group got their survivor medallions. The room has a couple of jump scares and a loud portion with the crackling of electricity.
The Curse Of The Black Knight
EscapeX Rooms - Irvine
Escape room
IRL
This escape room was everything. Probably my favorite that I have played to date. The atmosphere was immersive and impressive, the music and audio quality could not be rivaled, and the special effects were great. There were times when we had to climb and crawl to advance in the room and the puzzles were oh so satisfying to solve. Our GM was amazing and recommended more rooms for my partner and I after our adventure ended (he’s the reason I’m on this app now). I would recommend this room to anyone who meets the age requirement and I also heard in the coming year the room will get a tech upgrade!! 20/10!!

The Locked Inn
Escape room

I was blown away by how awesome this room was. The staff was super nice and really fun! I believe the owners name was Heather and our GMs were Tanner and Ariel. The room was incredibly novel and felt like a return to the 80s. There were moving walls, trigger loaded wall panels/boxes, and groovy vibes. This also happened to be my parents first escape room and they had so much fun. I was so so pleased with everything down to how clean the bathroom was lol. I’ll be back.
Alice Suite
The Locked Inn
Escape room

Heather has done it again! Another room where I am beyond impressed. There are lock and key puzzles along with ones where you have to listen and infer. There are several rooms within this room. The set design is so cute and novel and the immersion was top notch as always. Our GMs were Cory (Cody?) and Ann. I cannot wait for Heather’s NBC room!!
S.A.S.H.A: Home Of The Future
Wild Goose Escapes - Fullerton
Escape room
IRL
S.A.S.H.A was amazing. Was recommended the room by a previous GM and we finally made the trip to Fullerton today. The plot is based around a home AI that goes evil and you have to override her programming. The room is non-linear and there are lots of puzzles to work on so the room is good for big groups. S.A.S.H.A has lots of tech triggered reveals, for example, if you get a code right a drawer in another room pops open. Our GM, Max, was super fun and nice to our group. All of us are super impressed with this room!
The Secrets Of Shadow Point
Wild Goose Escapes - Huntington Beach
Escape room
IRL
Shadow Point was great. The ambiance, from the music, to the props, to the effects was amazing. Justin, our GM, really set the tone for the room with his tone in explaining the history of Shadow Point. My team and I really enjoyed laughing and occasionally screaming/cursing. Great room, one of my favorites for sure!
Vault 805
Two Trees Escape
Escape room
IRL
Vault 805 was hard, my team and I got out with literally 0 seconds to spare. The game is pretty low tech, but very fun. The puzzles are interesting and the way you receive clues is different. All in all it was a very fun experience and we loved the Fallout inspired room.
Once Upon A Time
Red Door Escape Room - Oxnard
Escape room
IRL
Our GM Samon was amazing, she was so funny. My friends took me here for my birthday and it was the first escape room I had done in quiet a while. The puzzles were interesting and the atmosphere was so fun. I love fairytale themed rooms.
The King’s Keep
Next-Gen Escape
Escape room
IRL
King’s Keep is a fun and easy room. You are a group of traveling performers wrongly accused of kidnapping the princess so now you have to break out of jail before you’re ☠️. The first room has magnetic, letter, and number locks with lots of paper riddles. The second room involves getting lots of magnet locks open. You get as many hints as you want at NextGen without any penalty.
Grimm's Enchanted Forest
Two Trees Escape
Escape room
IRL
My partner and I took his mom, who had never done an escape room, to Two Trees for this room. It was beginner friendly while still providing enough of a challenge for my partner and I.
