The Weeping Witch
Cross Roads Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
This room had been highly recommended, and while we are glad to finally have gotten the chance to experience it, I feel it was maybe a little overhyped for me. The room mechanics are very impressive, the storyline is consistent, and the puzzles are fun with good scary elements. I’d recommend going into this room with an open mind to the entire experience.

Overall a great room! I do wish the hint system was a little less generous to give players the opportunity to investigate and poke around first. I understand that the goal is to have people pass, but felt a little less satisfying given how generous the hints are.

Just finished playing this room with our awesome GM Ben (and his trusty friend Shiloh)! We had a great time and one of the best GMs we’ve had at any of our games — great energy and SO understanding and considerate. The room play was so fun and pretty unique. Definitely go with a group you work well with 😉 Can’t wait to try their other rooms!

This was such an unexpectedly great escape room! Everything from decor, atmosphere/ambiance, and storyline – all culminated to a great experience! Our GM was so kind and friendly. 4 out of 6 of us were on time, but just at the start of our booking, the last 2 of us in our party had parked but couldn’t find the entrance and she patiently waited for us all to come up to the lobby. The visuals even before entering the room were great and memorable! The set design though, was amazing! So on theme and all the puzzles tied together and were very intuitive. Such a great experience and would highly recommend coming in and trying this group with a group of friends. I think 6 would’ve been the max for us without having people on the side idle, but I think there is a lot of ground to cover so would recommend groups of 4-6. Can’t wait until they open up another room!

To be honest, I went in not knowing this was a scary/creepy room. Check in was easy, and our GM was knowledgeable and so on point for our entire game (Thanks, Tim!) This is a non-linear room with a lot of interesting puzzles. My best advice: try not to be too scared & keep your mind open to the different hints and clues you find along the way. Overall, very true-to-theme atmosphere with lots of fun puzzles.

This was one of those experiences where I wish it wasn’t as bad as it was. Our GM didn’t help prep us (other than summarizing the theme of the room we were entering), and we had a first-timer join us and not really understand what he was looking for or getting into. Early on, we were split up where certain members did literally nothing until we reached the next phase of the room, and the poor set design failed us early on so that we were forced to use a hint sooner than expected. While we still escaped, it wasn’t nearly satisfying after all that we’d experienced.

I would keep expectations low. The gameplay was easy enough and aspects of the set were pretty interesting. We had a pretty distracted GM (handling another room with kids) and didn’t get an accurate end time. Overall though was a fun enough, last minute room, but wouldn’t book this in advance.
