We did struggle a few times and found the clue system on a screen in the first room was frustrating and broke our immersion. The team at Clue looked after us and there is plenty to enjoy about this game.

Could have done with splitting up more or having more than 2 people. Great sets and felt very immersive the whole time. We will go back to give it another try.
Blackbeard's TreasureEscape Hunt - OxfordEscape roomIRLOverall we enjoyed this room. A few parts were tired and it could have had a decorated ceiling to help with immersion. Some of the parts were frustrating due to rudimentary props obscuring what we needed to do. The second part of the room felt like it flowed better even though we found it harder and should have searched more.
The Virus Laboratory - CLOSEDSCRAMM Live Escape GameEscape roomIRLI wanted to do this room before it is retired and replaced at the end of Feb 2024. It wasn't as immersive experience as I have had in the past I think as some of the decor to make it a bit scary was fake severed hands, spiders etc. this did make it all feel a bit fake overall to me. There were some interesting puzzles and we definitely got a bit stumped at times. The maths puzzles were not executed well by us and as a team we were not working quickly so did not make it out in time. We also failed on some of the searching tasks. I was doing the room with two second time escapees and they very much enjoyed themselves so a good time was had by all in the end even if we didn't quite get out in time. Our GM lets us play the last puzzle after stopping the clock which made us feel like we didn't really miss out. I look forward to trying out what replaces this room in the coming months.

A few of them stumped us initially and we got a few answers wrong and were put on the right track by our GM. Pay attention to the fine details when searching. The cave setting works really well and we recommend you give it a try.
The Bank RobberySCRAMM Live Escape GameEscape roomIRLWe had a great time doing the bank heist room. The puzzles were nearly all ones we could work out in the end with a few we couldn't get that our games master helped us with. It was perfectly balanced to help us get out in time. The room felt realistic with everything in working order with some items a little worn which worked fine in the setting. The puzzles were varied and kept us busy. We had a team of two. Recommended and we will go back to try their other rooms.
Curse of the PharaohEscape Hunt - OxfordEscape roomIRLWe really enjoyed this room as our second ever escape room. The puzzles were mixed with some that we needed help with and others we enjoyed solving methodically. It felt very immersive within the game from the clue delivery via walkie talkie when part of the dig to the very believable set.
