Zombie ApocalypseEmerge Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe did both of Emerge's current rooms and loved both! The live acting in the begining is a nice touch which helps you get immersed. The puzzles were logical but still required some thought. I liked both rooms but had a very slight preference for the Temple room, we actually found some of the puzzles harder. We felt the Zombie rooms puzzles were more straight forward. Definitely worth the detour to check this place out!
Temple Raider RoomEmerge Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThe Temple Raider room was one of my favorite escape rooms I've done! I liked the atmosphere quite a bit, and appreciated how some of the puzzles worked and were solved. Definitely required some thought. Personally I thought this one was actually a tad harder than the zombie room, however based on the statistics the owner gave me I see why this one is rated as easier. A great room, the live acting was a great touch and I loved how you communicated with the game master (we did need a hint).
7 Deadly SinsEscapology - DoralEscape roomIRLPuzzles required confusing logic jumps that I struggle to see anyone getting without clues. Puzzles were not very engaging or fun. I did like the atmosphere and the story was alright.
Dog DaysPrototype Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis was by far my favorite escape room I've ever done! It was definitely challenging for us but I loved how the puzzles worked, some were super unique and the non-linear nature was great. There was really unique tech and ways to progress. The owner was super nice and gave us extra time, it would have been such a bummer to not complete the room as we were in the home stretch. The live acting was great and wasn't just in the begining. Overall this is the place I'm most excited to do more rooms at!
Operation: CasinoBreakout Games - JacksonvilleEscape roomIRLThis was my groups first ever escape room. The puzzles were linear and not super complicated. The atmosphere was pretty dingy and disappointing. Overall now that I have done more rooms, I wouldn't come back to this chain but I still had a good time.
