Galactic Beef: The Cosmic Adventures of Star CowDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was my 62nd escape room and very different from your usual locks and codes. Super fun storyline and very immersive. This room was more technologically advanced and I did like the puzzles. Even though technology rooms arent my favorite, this one was pretty okay and different! I dont recommend it for beginners, but Doldricks has many more beginner rooms!
WonderlandEscape Goats Myrtle BeachEscape roomIRLThis was an awesome escape room and I would recommend it for escape room enthusiasts. Maybe do not make this your first escape room ever because I don’t think it is as traditional, but for what it is, it is spectacular! The puzzles were just hard enough and flowed really well. Some moments I felt silly for not figuring it out, but definitely some really thought out puzzles! Definitely check this place out!!!!!
Special Ops. Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis is a great escape room, but not for beginners. I personally liked the first half better than the second half, as the puzzles were more linear. I think young kids would struggle in this room, but overall, it was super fun and I would play again at this company!

Bros for Life: Fraternity HeistThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLEnjoyed the atmosphere of the room a lot, as it is not your typical theme. The game flow was great and the puzzles were fun and unique! This was my 55th escape room and definitely one of my favorites. I think 2-3 people max is perfect for this room.
Dragon Challenge: A Hero's Choice [prev. The Quest]The Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLVery fun room! The puzzles were definitely a little difficult for just two people but totally do-able. I enjoyed the gameplay and the flow, but I do not think this room would be good as a kids first escape room. Had very cool elements and puzzles that were unlike other rooms I have seen.
Operation Treehouse: Capture the FlagThe Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLThis room was a lot of fun! Had some difficult moments, but very doable. It is not a linear room, so it may be a little tough for kids, but the atmosphere was incredible! There can be a lot going on at once, but I think this is a great escape room overall! This was actually the first room I have done where I did not use a single hint! Still took us 58 minutes to escape.
The RingmasterDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLA really cool room and fun puzzles! Definitely challenging for just two people, like we had, but if you’re up for it, definitely fun for experienced players! Our game master made the experience though! Mandy was absolutely incredible at keeping to the theme of the room and being so supportive! I enjoyed that it was linear and nonlinear at points and the puzzles and atmosphere were perfect for the theme!
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis escape rooms theme was so cool! I felt like I was in grade school again and I enjoyed the puzzles. Definitely not a linear experience, but very interactive and fun! I would say kids will have a good time, but some of the puzzles may be a bit hard. Jordan, our gamemaster, was amazing!! Also, this escape place does allow other people to book with you, but if you get lucky and its just your group, the ideal number is 2-4 players.
The DepthsThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis room was definitely technologically advanced and it was very cool! The puzzles were pretty linear and had some I have not seen. Not as many locks and keys as your typical escape room. I think this room would be good for kids, but definitely would have some challenging parts for them. Ideal amount of players is 2-3 in my opinion, if you get lucky and do not get booked with others. I think playground is still my favorite room at this location.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final MeltdownThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLBy far one of the most immersive rooms I have ever done! The game play was absolutely phenomenal. I think 3-4 players is ideal and definitely could be fun for kids, but probably a little challenging. I have never seen such a large escape room in my life and some of the puzzles were new to me. I cannot wait to come back and try other rooms here! Also our game master Chris was AMAZING!
Possession At Haddon HeightsThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLThis room was definitely fun, but not for the light hearted. Not your traditional escape room, but was super fun! I enjoyed that the rooms at Bureau don’t have locks and keys, it is more objective based and very interactive. This room is just the right amount of spooky and for someone, like myself, who is not a fan of paranormal, it wasn’t too bad. I do not think kids should do this room as it can come off as scary. Overall, a great room and I cannot wait to try more rooms here.
Smoke & Mirrors: Houdini's Final EscapeThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLThis room was super fun and had great game play, but our game master Roxie made the whole experience. This was a pretty linear room and had some puzzles I have not seen before. Honestly one of the harder rooms I have done, but very manageable! Highly recommend checking this place out. I would say 2-4 people is ideal and kids should be okay!
Sweet Tooth Candy ShoppeEast Coast Escape RoomEscape roomIRLVery fun and unique room! Loved that the puzzles were linear and felt like this was a new experience because the theming was one I have never seen. The puzzles were creative and not like any regular escape room. Highly recommend this for kids and families who want to get into escape rooms. I would also try to stay around 3-4 people.
The Video StoreDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room was definitely nostalgic to old Block Busters and felt very real! I appreciated how much detail went into the set design and the puzzles. This room was not as linear as some other rooms and definitely is not one I would personally recommend to a first timer. There were many combination locks as well as regular key locks and at some points it felt hard to keep track of everything. Other than that, the room is very fun and definitely family friendly. Would love to somehow see a longer table to work at when figuring out puzzles because I will say, the floor ended up being the easiest area to solve things on (but again, the room is only so big so I dont know where they would add another table).
Red Sled Redemption at the Holly Jolly Holiday Hubcap RepairDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis game is not linear, but it is still certainly fun and solvable. This escape room company has some of the best rooms I have ever done and this room did not disappoint. I don’t think this is a good room for beginners/first room ever, but the puzzles were fun and very well themed. It can be overwhelming at times with how much there is to do, but once you get going, it flows well. I would not have more than 4 people in the room, as it is a tight squeeze.
The Cannibal CollectorBreak Out Myrtle Beach Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis room was fun, but I personally think some of their other rooms at this location are better. Either way, the puzzles are definitely tricky and the room does have some loud noises. I would not label this room as a horror room, but maybe just creepy/thrilling. We certainly used hints as the puzzles were not as linear, but they were definitely challenging. They didn’t always click right away and many require critical thinking. Fun room if you’re into creepy things!
Budapest Express - CLOSEDEscapology - HolmdelEscape roomIRLThis room was not one of my favorites, but it had some fun puzzles. If you have ever done Murder on the Orient Express, I feel that it was similar, but that room was better in my opinion. This one had some confusing puzzles and one that takes forever, which takes up your whole game. If you have multiple people in your room, not everyone can work on it at the same time, so I feel like there was a lot of standing around. I think Escapology offers better rooms that I would pick first.
Davy Jones’ LockerExit 4 - Toms RiverEscape roomIRLAnother super fun and linear game from exit 4. This is listed as their hardest room and it was definitely challenging but totally manageable. Puzzles seemed sort of similar to their other rooms. The first puzzle in my opinion is the hardest and after that, smooth sailing (lol pirate pun). 4 people is probably the ideal amount.
Cabin of the Jersey DevilExit 4 - Toms RiverEscape roomIRLVery linear room, which I loved! I wouldn’t necessarily say the room is scary, just dark/mysterious. Only one jump scare but it’s nothing crazy!! Puzzles were fun and unique to the room, I almost wish there was more. Can’t wait to try their other rooms.
