Ongyi’s DreamDeepthinker Escape RoomEscape roomIRLthe set design was AMAZING. the storyline and the puzzles were tied together really well. we had one team member that was fluent in korean which helped but if you have a team of only english speakers, the hint system is well designed to accommodate for that. highly recommend!
The Cabin 2.0New Mexico Escape Room - McLeod LocationEscape roomIRLreally great storytelling and not really scary unless you dont like fake blood/body parts. nice and intuitive puzzles that all flowed well in terms of story progression. i do wish that the hint system allowed for one other screen in the last section but i appreciate that it pushed us to think more critically and we ultimately didnt really need it that way. with 3 of us, we escaped with 13 minutes to spare and we wish we couldve been in town long enough to do more rooms here. would definitely make a road trip just to come back for the new room theyre working on!
Blackwell ManorNew Mexico Escape Room - McLeod LocationEscape roomIRLLOVED this room. spooky/eerie type of scary. the set design and effects really build the atmosphere well. the storytelling is SO good too. as a mobility note, someone may have to crawl a very short amount. all the puzzles were great. one puzzle could maybe use a written hint/prompt but overall such a fun experience that we came back the next day to do another one.
Escape JumanjiBust Out Escape Room - PaseoEscape roomIRLvery cool and well designed room, good for families and not difficult. a couple of steep stairs and a short crawl so keep that in mind in case that may be an accessibility issue. overall, worth it if you like rooms with this type of theme and we would do other rooms at Bust Out.
Temple Of DoomOperation OutbreakEscape roomIRLif you like the theme, you'll appreciate this room. the trailer for it was also a very cool representation of what the game play could offer. the progression was linear which i like but i felt like there was set dressing that was confusing as to whether it was necessary for the game and then some aspects where it felt like there were too many puzzles for one thing so it seemed like they just wanted to have extra puzzles to take up your time rather than as a seamless part of the story. overall, it was ok.
The MCoBeauty Heist - CLOSEDEscapology - El PasoEscape roomIRLquick and easy room. definitely some gimmies since they want you to get to the products at the end. wish it was a bit more difficult and i feel it was maybe not worth doing overall. but would recommend other escapology rooms, this location and the staff here are great!

GM was amazing and we loved the immersion starting out in the waiting room. they tailor the gameplay just a tiny bit with extra puzzles and (maybe just flattery) but we we had the most puzzles for a team of 2 :O wish we lived in the area to be able to do any other rooms they may come out with but this is a solid must do room if you have the chance :)
Diamond QuestParanoia Quest - TempeEscape roomIRLsuper immersive as soon as you get into the lobby! so fun and the GMs are funny. we were the last game of the night so we did have some technical difficulties with battery powered lamps dying but they brought in new batteries, gave us water and told us not to worry about any time lost from the battery swaps. owner is amazing and we wish we had more time in the area to try out ALL the rooms they had. would honestly travel back here just for their other rooms and the new rooms they were cooking up in the back :)
Jurassic EscapeEscape the Room Phoenix - ScottsdaleEscape roomIRLgameplay flow was unintuitive/counterintuitive for us. maybe it just didnt mesh well with us and our solving style. we've done another room by Escape the Room in a different city and that room was also not too great for us. in comparison to the other 2 places we did escape rooms with that day, this is the only place i wouldnt want to go back to.

Dracula EscapeSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLwhen booking the room requires 4 people, it's always just my husband and I when we play so we just bought the 4 tickets to play with us 2 because we were really interested in trying it out while we were in the area! can definitely escape this room with 2 adults and we would recommend it if you also wanted to try it but didnt have 4 people :) wouldve loved to do other rooms here but we weren't in st. louis long.
VanishedEscape From St. LouisEscape roomIRLAmazing experience!! Loved the theme, the puzzles were were different and theres a cool variation in the gameplay plot that I've never seen before. There's a walkie talkie to contact GM but they watch, listen and give clues through a screen in the room so we didn't use it. No clues felt out of place and would definitely do other rooms here.
The TheaterEscape the Room - St. LouisEscape roomIRLLoved the atmosphere and the set up of the rooms. As previously mentioned in other reviews, gameplay puzzles are not linear and some did not work. No red herrings. Our GM was great at watching, listening and providing helpful clues when needed along with coming in the room to fix the puzzles that didn't work. I personally would have thought to come back and do other rooms but other reviewers said all their rooms are like this so I might not.
The Georgetown MorgueSeattle Escape GamesEscape roomIRLPuzzles were different from other escape rooms. It seemed more like a scavenger hunt and clues weren't laid out in a linear way. Cool concept, not scary. Location itself is kinda scary. Plus side is that GM sees and hears everything, will nudge when needed.
Sherlock HolmesLimitless Escape GamesEscape roomIRLWould do other rooms here. Might have solved the puzzles a bit out of order but fairly good range of easy to hard puzzles. Communication with GM is through a walkie talkie and there's cameras in the room.
The StorykeeperLocurioEscape roomIRLEscaped with 3 people and it was really fun. Probably our favorite in the area with the linear clues and really immersive gameplay. Would definitely go to Locurio again to try other rooms. GM is nearby and clues are given through an iPad.
The Dark RoomCognition EscapesEscape roomIRLImmaculate vibes. Really cool story behind it. Puzzles were a bit challenging and we fumbled a bit. For the most part, pretty intuitive one main thing that we didn't solve but still escaped through some luck. Would definitely try other rooms here. GM watches and listens to give relevant clues through slips of paper under the door.
