The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
13th Hour Escape Room - Wharton
Escape room
IRL
Creative and flows with story so well. Surprisingly interactive. The game masters work well as a team from putting the room and mechanics together to working with every individual groups’ preferences. While this room is one of the easier ones, there is still enough for your average person including myself. This is not just a superb room but this is an outstanding escape room company. Where else can you reserve a room with only one person? Highly not recommended to go solo but at least people can pay on their own if they wish.
Lucky Dice Diner
Expedition Escape

One of the areas I personally thought was a bit hard to see but otherwise this room is near the top of my list for aesthetic and playing. I even got two shirts because I liked the room and color combos.

The Grand Parlor
13th Hour Escape Room - Wharton

Multiple levels and hidden things. Inspired by their haunts but set in such a way that it is a true escape room.
The Campground

We were trying to rescue a camper, and only by playing can you find out how the stories play out because. . . you're in it of course! There is a ranger to help guide you on your way. I was surprised about the "weather" elements which might make you cough, but it is so awesome to also experience that effect in the escape room environment. The puzzles are more than reasonably interactive and some of them are particularly difficult.
The Blind Tiger Speakeasy

I like how this company always looks to improve and consider other people’s thoughts. They really care about the entire experience from the staff to the customers to the escape rooms themselves. They work with context and understand that unexpected things will happen no matter how much you do.
The Purgers
Sage! Escape Room

Very different but in a good way. Unique, engaging story. Important to sign up beforehand and watch out for Purgers!!! Aaahhh!! The room says “not scary” here on Morty, but you should call or email the staff at least a week beforehand if you have concerns about being scared or not just in case. Game masters work well with the group and understand how to adjust for contextual situations that can’t be predicted in advance.
The Last Vampire
Encrypted Escape Room

The aesthetic, the complications to setup the mechanics to run and reset everything to prepare for the next group- omg. Makes you wish you came in an all garlic costume!

Olde City Escape Games

I loved the neon lights. The overall space could be considered small for more than 3 but with only 3 people, harder to solve too. The puzzles are reasonably cohesive but naturally different enough from each other. There is only so much space they can work with in this facility. So that is a factor too. But it is convenient within the city too.
The Island: Genetic Testing Ground Zero
Captured LV Escape Room - Allentown

One of the best rooms I have ever played. I think I like Last Vampire in Reading more but you can’t go wrong here either. Excellent mechanics and puzzles.
Evil Dead 2

I believe my team escaped but I can’t remember. When the room couldn’t offer in-person, we had a remote option. I am not as big into horror but this was done so well it didn’t matter. Remote is no longer offered because having a camera on one’s head is too painful and it wouldn’t be feasible for them to keep running it remotely unfortunately.
