The Edison Escape RoomPalace GamesEscape roomIRLMy favorite out of the three rooms at the palace (haven’t played the attraction yet). The puzzles were just really neat and utilized the entire room, literally! There were 5 of us and that felt like a good number. I probably wouldn’t go more than 6. Had some really cool aspects that I haven’t seen to date in other rooms. There is enough to do that will utilize all members of your team so no one will feel left out.
The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLSo much fun if you like creepy rooms! We didn’t ask for hints but the hint/nudge system was very cute and kept the mood a little lighter. Puzzles were good and felt very connected to the storyline. Entire room was so immersive and the actor did such a good job.
The Isle of WonderThe Greatest EscapeEscape roomIRLThe ambiance was very immersive and adventurous, but I never felt rushed at all. Comfortable pace and the puzzles all made sense. Really enjoyed this one and the fact I was able to do it solo! The gm Drew was so nice and accommodating. Would love to come back and try the third room they’re working on when it opens!
The Roosevelt Escape RoomPalace GamesEscape roomIRLAlthough the puzzles weren’t as good as Edison in my opinion, I enjoyed the Roosevelt theme the most out of all the Palace Games themes. One of the puzzles felt a little bit repetitive. The last section had a little mishap with a few things not working, but we worked through it and it didn’t take away from the drive we had to complete the room. Did this with a group of 4 and it felt like a good number. Enjoy the patriotism and old school feel to this room. Bully!
The Skull WitchEnchambered Live Escape Room AdventureEscape roomIRLGreat atmosphere throughout the game! The puzzles were really well done and had a good combo of things that weren’t just locks. The only thing that made this game a bit harder is that it was hard to figure out what should be done with things and clues you find and in what order they will be needed. I actually liked it though as it made the entire game another puzzle in a way. We were on the last puzzle and just ran out of time. Needed about 1 more minute, almost had it.
Museum Of History: HeistThe Greatest EscapeEscape roomIRLThe puzzles were fun to figure out and all made sense. I forgot something that was fairly straightforward and had to get a reminder nudge but the rest was a blast. I think I like the Isle room more, but this one is certainly worth playing.
The Great Houdini Escape RoomPalace GamesEscape roomIRLThis was actually my very first escape room! Probably not the best for first timers because like the other palace games rooms, it can be a little overwhelming and challenging, however it was a great introduction to my addiction! The puzzles were very innovative. There were a few moments which were surprising, but not necessarily scary. Had a lot of fun and staff were wonderful.
Sweet RevengeQuandary Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI loved the theme of the room! The design was super cute and the atmosphere was very immersive. From beginning to end I enjoyed this room. Some very unique puzzles and lots of high tech equipment. Very happy to get out with no hints and a minute to spare. GM was very nice and said they are building a 4th room in the storyline. Will definitely be back
Ukleti Hotel [Haunted Hotel]The Old Lock Up Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis truly felt like a haunted hotel! Similar to the bailiff room, the layout was so amazing. The narrow halls give you the feeling that you never know just who might be lurking around the next corner! The staff were so kind even though they went all out scaring us. I definitely got jump scared once completely off guard. Very dark room! Good luck seeing what you’re doing. Would go back and play it again, it was a great game and very well done.
Presuda [The Bailiff]The Old Lock Up Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe layout of this escape room is extremely impressive. Try to admire that while you’re constantly kept on your toes by the horror element of the room. We had quite a bit of puzzles left but ran out of time with only 2 people. It was an amazing experience though. Don’t get caught by the bailiff!
