New Mexico Escape Room - McLeod Location

Escape room
IRL

A great room! We had a little sequence error but the game master was quick to help us correct it and we got the chance to solve the puzzle anyways.

Evasive Escape Rooms - Kissimmee [prev. Edge Escape]

A solid room with well maintained props. Clearly a lot of love went into the puzzles. A very kinetic room.

Escape Hour Austin

A fantastic room that really kept unfolding as we got deeper. Definitely 3 person minimum. A lot of crawling and climbing, so there are some accessibility issues. That aside, the set was stellar, the GM interaction was awesome, and the puzzles were just right.

Strange Bird Immersive

A fantastic and funny slice of immersive theater. Just as I expected from Strange Bird, I was completely engaged from the moment I stepped in the door. Without spoiling anything, this is certainly not an Escape Room, but well worth your time.

A solid room. Not as amazing as some of the others at Escape Hour, but decent. The theme was great and the props were fun.

Trapped Puzzle Rooms - Audio Escape Adventure

Escape room
Virtual

A really fun room that offers a twist on "classic" puzzle solving. Just as flexible and expansive as any of the other rooms that they offer in audio format. If you have an imaginative group, you'll have a ton of fun with this one.

This was a fantastic room! The setting, gameplay, and interactivity are absolutely top notch. I cannot wait to come try their other rooms.

Escapology - Cypress

A pretty fun themed room! The set was very cartoony and fun, and the puzzles were in that sweet spot between obvious and difficult.

SCRAP Co. / Real Escape Game - Online

Escape room
Tabletop

A pretty neat escape room in a box with some interesting ideas around communication. I liked the setup for some of the later puzzles quite a lot, but the final puzzle had a trick that (at least for my group) felt a lot more frustrating than satisfying.

Society Of Curiosities

Escape room

A neat little mystery-in-a-box. It was perfect for a little bit of puzzling on a Sunday morning - nothing to hard, and the web elements added a fun second layer of searching.

Escape the Titanic

Escape It Houston - East

Escape room

A good room with a few minor frustrations. The sets are lovely, but there is *a lot* of "do not touch" labeling that begins to feel a bit excessive. Had some minor scruples with a pair of the puzzles but nothing that made the game unsolvable.

Bust Out Escape Room - Paseo

Loved the theming and the "centralized" nature of this puzzle. A high tech room that maintained a lot of fun tactile puzzles.

Bust Out Escape Room - Paseo

A very fun room! The puzzles were very unique and, accordingly, a little more tricky than usual.

A fantastic game who's theming kept us engaged from start to finish. You can really see the care in every part of the room. It was just spooky enough for us!

House Of Eternal Return [Immersive Art]

Meow Wolf

Escape room
Other

Not really an escape room per se, but more of an art installation meets immersive mystery. The House of Eternal Return has a way of making you feel alone in a lot of spaces even when it's packed. Some extremely memorable spaces and art pieces await, and the story is pretty rewarding, if you take the time to read/watch a lot of it and get invested in the fate of the family

Escape The Room - Woodlands

Escape room

This room is kind of polarizing. I can see how everything is supposed to work, but there are a lot of parts that, seemingly due to wear and a lack of upkeep, just don't work or don't work like they should. This could be a tight and fun room if a few of the dots connected more strongly or the physical props weren't as worn down. For what it's worth, I did this room with someone that had not done a room before and they had a great time.

The Escape Game - CityCentre

Escape room
IRL

Good but not great. The more of The Escape Game's rooms that I try with digital elements, the more I grow convinced that they are just not as fun as tactile elements in a room. Good to do if you are completing the set of rooms from this company, but i wouldn't go out of your way for this one.
