UI-55

This was a fun, but challenging room for a team of 2. It can be played as a team of 12, and there is a lot to do with less players - however it wasn’t impossible as a small team. Puzzles were clever and challenging, also all really well themed to the room. GM was very friendly and gave us recommendations of other local rooms - which I always like.

Outstanding room. Collector style challenge with 52 bags of money up for grabs. No matter the team size, you’ll never get bored due to the size, scale and cleverness of puzzles. Super friendly team too

The predecessor to Turd Burglars, this room is also nonlinear and HUGE There are 30 different codes to find and a whole load of cash to stash There were a couple of frustrating points to the game that stopped us loving it, but still very creative with so much to do that can easily hold teams of up to 6

Wow. Such an unbelievably large room filled with so many puzzles! There’s always something you can be doing, if you get frustrated on one puzzle just move onto the next. The whole premise of the room being able to collect loot and the way in which you achieve this is so smart and well thought of. The added sentimental touch of being able to sign the wall afterwards added such a touching feeling to the Room and makes us definitely want to return.

I can’t believe that Alex designed and made this whole room. It is an exceptional example of a room that challenges you and rewards you continuously for a full hour. There’s a varied range of puzzles so we were constantly busy on tasks that appealed. You can give up on something that’s frustrating and find twenty other things to entertain you. We found it a joy from start to finish and would happily go back and work on different puzzles. If solving puzzles appeals to you then treat yourself to an hour of fun. And, if you are passionate about escape rooms, have a chat with Alex after you’ve experienced his handy work. We can’t wait to return and try the other rooms.

Such a novel idea, having all the rooms available from the moment the game starts! It was such a wonderful, chaotic, fun time!

It’s crazy to me that this escape room costs less than some of the cookie cutter experiences you get with other providers. Such a wicked room (‘room’ is selling it short, BTW. It’s absolutely massive). If you haven’t done this one, I can wholeheartedly say there is a reason it is recommended whenever you speak to GMs elsewhere. It really is that good 👍🏻

Really amazing room with so much to do, everything is accessible from the start and you can just do good puzzle after good puzzle for the full hour! Plus a fun ending which is very unique!

If you haven’t done this room… GO AND DO IT! We’d heard a lot about UI-55 and the accolades and it really was worth the hype. You don’t appreciate just how big the room is and there’s so much to do in there. The good thing about it is the mixture of puzzles, the high tech nature of the room and that you can break off individually and accumulate a lot of the collection codes etc. The set design and attention to detail was amazing and the hour flew by. Amazing collection based game and one of our favourite rooms we’ve done. We spoke to the owner of compendium who built the room and even the story of it being built shows how passionate they are there which shows in the gameplay and how enjoyable the rooms are. We managed 52 bags as a team of 2!
