Escape Academy

Definitely the best escape room type game I've played. Each room is themed according to the story and offers a decent challenge. Having the ability to watch your partner's perspective is such a great addition as well! Definitely will be picking up the dlcs for this game!

Was very sceptical about an escape room video game, but it turned out to be fantastic! It's essentially a series of virtual escape rooms with various difficulties and settings. While the first-person perspective could make some people dizzy and the point and click playing style may feel restrictive, the puzzles are really like those of any real-life escape room you might play. I was impressed and had a lot of fun.

Was really impressed with this! I went in with low expectations because I assumed it would just be a low effort project attempting to cash in on escape room popularity but found it really enjoyable! Charming, entertaining, and a decent difficulty level

Really fun virtual escape room for 2! The puzzles were enjoyable and the game is designed extremely well to make for a seamless experience!

Fun escape video game with a cute theme. Interesting combinations of puzzles (definitely have something to write with as the game doesn't have anything for note taking). Enjoyed each of the puzzles and challenges, one complaint is multiple times you start a puzzle with a set time displaying, but when that puzzle is completed you are thrown into another puzzle with its own time (or unknown time) which you may not have planned on playing for that long. The dialog is entertaining, and intros are fun, though sometime I really wish I could skip more of it.

This is an online escape room! Love the class aspect of it and the way that the escape rooms are set up. Highly recommend for folks looking to sharpen their skills for the real life escape rooms!

One of my absolutely favorite online escape room/game series. You're a student who's been scouted out by this academy for you to excel and eventually become one of the masters. You even get grades. The DLC's have been an absolute great addition for the lore and just more puzzles to do. Would recommend the season pass. You can even play co-op with a friend!

One of the best virtual escape room video games I’ve ever played! Escape Academy is a collection of about a dozen escape rooms tied together with a charming story about an escape room school. (enroll me now!) The game stands out with its excellent 1st-person controls that are a step above typical point-and-click gameplay. The rooms are all colorful, well-designed, filled with humor and personality, and include elements that would not be feasible in real-life escape rooms. The puzzles are in the easier side for enthusiasts, and the lower time limits reflect that. But there are some good stumpers that took a while, and made me feel proud to solve. There is a built-in hint system for those who need more assistance. You can play co-op too with local and online with optional split screen! Really felt like I was in an actual escape room with a group! Also worth noting there’s DLC packs that add extra escape rooms and storylines. The game is frequently cheap, and I highly recommend it for newcomers and veterans alike, especially for those days where you just can’t make it out to a real room! Passing marks A+!

I'm not a gamer by any means, but I honestly loved this game so much. The puzzles felt like I was solving an actual escape room, rather than the typical point-and-click games. It was complex but made sense and was entertaining. If I could forget the puzzles and play again, I definitely would.
