This escape room stood out for its unique structure, splitting the adventure into four mini-rooms, each with its own distinct theme and vibe. The timed nature—20 minutes per room to solve four puzzles—added a layer of excitement and urgency you don’t often get. Even if you didn’t solve everything, you moved on, which kept the energy up and made each transition feel fresh and challenging. The clever twist of tying all rooms together through a story that reveals itself as you go was really fun, and getting to submit the completed puzzles for a final score in the last room made it feel rewarding even if you didn’t master every challenge. It’s a creative twist on the traditional escape room format, and we loved every minute of it.

I had an awesome experience at The 4th Door! The setup really stands out compared to other escape rooms I've tried, and the attention to detail in the thematic decor is incredible. You progress through four distinct rooms as you solve the puzzles, which really adds to the sense of accomplishment as you advance. The puzzles are challenging but not overwhelming, and they can be tackled simultaneously if you decide to split up.

Puzzles are pretty straightforward, some require a bit of out of the box thinking. Overall not super challenging other than the timing on a few of the puzzles. Some puzzles require teamwork which is nice. For my group some of the puzzles were frustratingly straightforward and took little to no time to solve, only time to execute the mechanics.

Good: Good lighting, really nice sets, some interesting mechanics that stepped beyond just electronic puzzles. Good variety of puzzles. Good hint mechanic. Mixed: interesting story idea, but not progressed much throughout the experience, and puzzles didn't connect to the story. End of escape room had a bit more plot though. Bad: some puzzles were easy to understand but hard to physically do because the electronics were very precise. Fewer puzzles that involves the room at large.
GM was friendly, helpfu, and geuine, though not fully in character

Many of the puzzles revolved around red/green lighting, so not ideal for those with color blindness
