This was a fun room with a good story. The escape room felt a little different than normal ones though, still fun though.

I enjoyed the room, but I wouldn’t say it’s a favorite. The backstory behind the room is a nice nod to some Detroit history, and it’s a good variety of non lock and key components. Overall, a good room-a highlight for 5th Wall in my opinion.

The Fifth Wall was a great random surprise find during a work trip - and easily one of the top three venues we’ve ever done escape rooms at! The Houdini room was amazing, so much attention to detail and fun puzzling!

A little techy, a lot of fun! This was my fiance's introduction to escape rooms and it got him hooked. Overall good puzzles and atmosphere. The guide was so nice too!

Really liked the creativity of connecting room with Detroit. Didn’t like that it seemed like the majority of puzzles were given to you at the start so you weren’t progressively getting more and more puzzles as you went through.
Connected room with Detroit, which made for a cool experience. You’re in one room the whole time and the moderator was pretty involved. Fun game, a little chaotic with a big group. You’re given a lot of puzzles at the very beginning and they could kind of go in any order. In a way, it was good for us because most people could work on something, but it was really hard to keep up with everything going on at once. Still, game flowed pretty well and everyone left having participated in at least a few puzzles.
Props and set were cool. Lots of antique-y 1920s style decor. Only one room, but cool trap that opens up. No amazing special effects, but everything kept with the theme well. Pretty immersive other than being given lots of hints.
Person at the front was the same person that helped us with our room. Super nice and helpful.
Connected the room to actual events in Detroit, which was great.
Story was good, built on actual events.
Medium
A lot happened audibly, so it made it a little hard to follow everything you were supposed to listen to, but otherwise puzzles were pretty straightforward.

A prob in the room that looked connected to one of the puzzles was out of order. Not super important

1-2 people have to crouch at one point, but no hard physical activity required other than that.
Would be difficult for anyone with hearing issues, as a lot is audible

Small parking lot, so parked on street next to location.

The room that started great but ended with blah. The opening video got us all excited but then elements of the room like hard to use buttons, old locks and hard to hear audio detracted from the experience.
Very linear room
One of the better opening videos
