Secret Society

A nice challenging room that packs a lot of fun into a smaller space. I like a good backstory and this one gives you more than enough mystery and intrigue to keep the most grizzled conspiracy theorist happy. The setting is dark and mysterious with plenty of props and knickknacks to set the mood. The puzzles are linear and you do need to work as a team to get through the room. This was a very satisfying room and gives your a lot to do with only one space

Very lock heavy.

This is a solid gen 2 escape room with heavy use of combo locks and a few instances of RFID. The larger puzzles are well designed but there were a couple locks that weren’t solved by logic but more by word association. It also has an unorthodox ending that I felt mixed about. Another oddity is the use of walkie talkies so the game master can communicate into the escape room. I don’t know why there isn’t a speaker built in. Overall this particular room is solid and a generally fair challenge. It’s dated when compared to newer rooms with more bells and whistles, but still fun.

Good beginner room. Not too difficult, and puzzles made sense. The occult theme is pretty common, but if you’re just getting started with escape rooms, that shouldn’t be an issue.

Good room. Several puzzle answers need to be said aloud and we kept forgetting that aspect. Overall it’s a fun room with some unique puzzles.

I really liked the theme of the room. Decent puzzles overall.
