Witch's Hollow

Fantastic hinting system, detailed decoration, very immersive

We came out to Salem just to play this escape room, and it did not disappoint! Witch's hollow was a delightful room. PUZZLES: There were lots of parallel puzzles, and we had a big group, so it was great that we could split up and tackle multiple puzzles. All the puzzles were intuitive and the solves made sense, but were still a challenging level of difficulty. There were also different types of puzzles, which was a lot of fun. THEME: The theming, set design, and special effects were great, with multiple moments that made us ooh with wonder. We especially loved the interactive bits, which made the experience very memorable. Our gamemaster, Joe, was awesome! I'd highly recommend this room. Can't wait to come back and try the Boring Office!

What a great game for my 600th! The puzzle design was top notch. Multiple puzzles that were executed in delightfully unique ways. The set was immersive and extraordinarily witchy. ;P

If there is an escape room theme that absolutely needs to be in Salem, it’s witches! Witch’s Hollow delivers exactly that, and doesn’t skimp on what could have been a tourist cash grab. The set is eerie without being scary. There are some neat effects. The puzzles are diverse and interesting. There are some light humorous interactions with a character. And there are even story choice points and different endings. Quite a few in fact! They’re not mindblowingly different endings, but they do feel personalized. And who doesn’t want to have their own personal witch adventure in Witch City? Get Bewitched here if you’re already in town for witch ever reason!

Excellent experience at Stained Hourglass! The room was really well done and perfect for our group of 3 enthusiasts. Game master added the right touches in character to help us when needed and add some fun elements. It would have been a lot for 2 to get done so 3 feels like bare minimum unless you want lots of GM help. Definitely one of the best rooms in greater Boston area.

I thought this was a very well done room. The theme was fun, plenty of well-designed puzzles, and it flowed great. Would recommend.

What a fantastic room! Outstanding cluing, lighting and sound. Inventive fun puzzles, and even some free choice!

Absolutely LOVED this room. Amazingly immersive, some really special game mechanics, and a great GM!

I really loved the live actor in the beginning of the story!! The puzzles were really fun and thought out. I loved how pretty the different themed rooms were.
