A magical fairy tale with a very pretty decorated set and great themed puzzles and a stellar finale! It’s very fun! There’s a pointless split that I wasn’t a fan of, but otherwise the room flows well in a mostly linear fashion as you find the fractured fairy tales. It’s a great room for children too to experience their escape ever afters!

This room was elaborate and beautiful with multiple sections. I found myself distracted a few times by what I thought were part of the puzzles. The hints light up to show us what's next to solve, which was really helpful. There were many nooks and crannies with pieces of the puzzles that I would've missed if not for my 10 year old. Our game master was very helpful and kept us on track, especially towards the end when we were almost running out of time.
Each puzzle stayed true to the Grimm fairy tales theme.

The last bit of puzzle was a surprise. My son found a custom piece of block with his name that we needed to escape.

A perfect family escape room. Great one to take your kids, though the puzzles aren’t actually that easy so you may want them to be a bit older (10+). Theme is wonderful and really enhances the experience. My only negative is one of the puzzles has a bit of “guess what we were thinking” which I dislike.

Very child friendly but not that easy for smaller kids.

Witchy Ever After was a great puzzle room! My favorite at the San Jose location. Clear signposting, good feedback and great puzzle modalities. It’s multilinear to a point, and adaptive to your gameplay, so anywhere between 2-6 honestly could work. Not scary at all, and clever use of space. Definitely worth a play.

Puzzles were the standout for sure!
Set design was clear and easily playable!
Staff were able to did more people to the booking 😀

It was a cute concept, very linear. Wished there was a bit more challenge to some things, one puzzle was too tedious. Overall a very simple but fun room.

Witchly Ever After was a fantastic room that captured the storybook magic perfectly and sucked us into the wonderful world Omescape has created. The set design was lovely and hid so many little references that I couldn’t keep myself from smiling the entire time. The puzzles were a standout here, with so many unique moments and actions that were so fun they hardly felt like puzzles. The flow of the room was also crisp and clean, it was always clear what you needed to be working on and there was the perfect amount of stuff to do for the four of us. This is a room perfect for beginners and enthusiasts, one of my favorites in the bay, and a must do if you are in the area!

This is such a fun and whimsical room. The set is wonderful and the little customized touch at the end is great. I love that they can change the difficulty on the fly, to suit the group. We were told at the end that they added all of the available bonus puzzles since we were ahead of schedule, and they let us know which ones were actually bonuses. And, we wouldn’t have known unless they told us. I think that this is a nice change as the escape rates on their other three room are currently 35%, 38%, and 50%. I like that this newer room can scale the difficulty so that more groups actually escape. The one area where I think that this room falls just a bit short is on puzzles. When compared to their other rooms, these just felt easier. I’d recommend 4-5 people for this room. There’s plenty to do so you can divide and conquer.

For as amazing of a room that this is, I felt that it felt short on the puzzles when compared to the other rooms at the San Jose location, as well as a couple of the rooms at their Sunnyvale location. They weren’t bad, but they just didn’t involve as much thought. And, that might be what they were going for, considering the cute theme.
So cute and whimsical!
The staff was very friendly and the GMs honored our preference for no hints or nudges unless we initiated it.

A bit of running around was required at one point during the game.
There are a few narrow spaces, some running around by four people is required to complete one of the puzzles, and colors are used in multiple puzzles.
