Billed as the easiest of all their rooms, The Mad Scientist still gave us plenty to work through. The puzzles were probably the most on theme with a bunch of gizmos and gadgets to work with to solve a plethora of puzzles. Again in the need of a small revamp but definitely a great room for a newbie. Most of the clues/keys were hidden in boxes with 2-3 different locks keeping them closed, this was consistent across the rooms and something I’m not personally a fan of. Our Game Master Alex who took us across all the rooms was a jet and answered any and all of our questions which we always appreciate.

Hidden down a little alley, keep your eyes peeled for the Adventure Rooms sign.

The oldest escape room across both Adventure Rooms venues and it definitely shows with the sheer amount of locks and codes to find throughout. The game itself was still great fun as it used a diverse range of props that were both on-theme and interactive. Although the Mad Scientist is marked as the easiest room, there was still plenty of tricky puzzles scattered throughout which kept us busy for longer than expected. Really solid all round, I’d happily recommend any of the games in the Collins St location! Alex our GM was also lovely and enthusiastic.

Great ideas, however some clues are tricky, there was ways around this such as using different tools

A great room, probably more oriented towards kids and beginners! Puzzles are quite easy, even with 2 people we did it with ease. Really overthought some puzzles. The last one we were stuck on thinking it would be really difficult just to rethink how it doesn‘t really fit all the other easy predecessors:D Room is a bit empty and naked, but because the puzzles are so apparent and easy you get a really good flow and breeze through the room and it feels really good solving so many in such a short amount of time ;) Staff here is very friendly and enthusiastic, really the nicest staff in any of the Escape rooms yet :))
Flow high! You solve one puzzle after another and they are quite easy but that gives it a super flow!
Good set design, but not too much atmosphere coming up. A bit empty.
Love the guys here, they are sooo nice!
