Rest Easy Motel

A decent room for newer players. It’s a lock-heavy room, which wasn’t extremely engaging for me, but others in my group enjoyed it. I was expecting something a little more spooky—and strobe lights! But apparently, they removed the strobe lights due to people not reading the strobe light warning when booking. I think there was supposed to be sound in the room, but there wasn’t—not even for the intro video to set the mood. Some of the room was very cramped, and it was difficult to include all 4 of us in many of the puzzles.

First puzzle was finding the location - it's up on the second floor of the shopping center. On e we got in, our game master was great, friendly and displayed some personality. The room itself was good, we made it through with a single hint/clue. The puzzles all made sense, nothing felt forced or like guesswork. The only detracting point in my opinion is the room is quite cramped to start. We were a group of 4 and were very snug for a chunk of the room. I am certain this is a limitation of the location and the space it has available. Also of note, our game master mentioned this was their most challenging room. While I have done several escape rooms in total, this was a first time for a couple of our team and they were managing to solve puzzles quite effectively while I was mostly watching and providing some minor assistance. If you are looking for a truly challenging room, you may want to check elsewhere, but if you've got a team of starters or younger members this may present a good challenge. Either way our group enjoyed it and I would suggest this as a good room for a small group.

Omg we loved this room. Super fun immersive theme and lots of cool puzzles throughout. It wasnt like scary ?? in my opinion but I still enjoyed the puzzles and theme a lot

Enjoyable escape room with a few particularly creative puzzles

Brought friends along for their first escape room experience, but turns out six adults was too many for the room - two to four would have been better. Difficulty level was medium, and we got out with quite a bit of time to spare. It was fine, would give it a 3.5 out of 5. Had some fun bits in it but a bit lock heavy. There's other rooms out there with the same name and design that we've seen but not played that are offered by different companies.

It was nice but seemed to cater to children.

This room was pretty cool. There was plenty of solving to be shared between our group of 4. A few surprises! Staff were enjoyable and play into the escape room experience 100%. Room may need a refresh here and there, but the puzzles and flow are spot on.

It was pretty simple. We got out with 14 minutes left, and they said it was their hardest room. We had played another room at this facility that seems pretty unremarkable, and there was nothing very memorable here either. Not much pressure or climax.

Overall, this was a good room. Low tech but enjoyable.
