316 escape rooms
I was excited to do this room. I had made arrangements to do this with two friends who also loved escape rooms. We found out when we arrived that we were going to be doing the room with three other strangers. Usually, I wouldn't have minded this but it was three kids who were obviously under the age of 10 with no parent or adult in sight. Their website says that children must be at least 12. Babysitting on top of escaping. Hip hip hooray. The setting and props were amazing (as always) but that is where my praise for this room ends. The puzzles were lackluster and many of the puzzles were picked up from puzzles in their other rooms. There was also a time suck logic puzzle that pulled me from a good portion of the first section of the room. Also, the room is way too noisy. Ambient sound effects mixed with the laser golf or whatever it was next to us made my head pound and kept me from focusing on the room. I cannot recommend this room for enthusiasts but there is a great visual wow factor that would make it fun for newbies or families with younger children.
