“We visited Ronnie's House, and he was happy to see us... Maybe a bit too happy. Ronnie is a very fun character to interact with in this room. The set progressed nicely and there are some fun moments along the way. If you play this room, I encourage you to engage with your 'friend' as much as you can, it will enhance your experience. In terms of scare-factor, it was very approachable.”

“Such a great surprise! The theme was fantastic, the puzzles were super creative, and the set/story were really immersive. We knew this was a smaller room than many we've done, but that never mattered. It was such a blast. Even after 60 escape rooms, this one still had a ton of things we hadn't seen before. It was so clever and perfectly executed. The storyline is clear and ties all the puzzles together in such a seamless manner. Really fantastic.”

“I really, really enjoyed this room! The story flow was exceptional - most rooms give you the scenario and that’s it. This one has a progression that keeps you very engaged. I recommend it to people ALL the time!”

“Candy Cane Conundrum is an escape room that will just have you smiling from start to finish. Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, you are guaranteed to get into the Christmas spirit by the end of this experience. As for the puzzles, most are straightforward but it does help to have another set of eyes or ears. We did this room with 2 people but I think 3-4 could be a good number as well if you’re going for record-breaking time. Some puzzles are mechanical and some may require physical agility aka crawling or climbing up the stairs. There are accommodations if you find the physical aspect to be a little too much. We didn’t get a chance to do the other rooms in this location but we would have done more if time allowed! Our game master brought all the energy and we appreciate her! Parking is not the easiest during the busy times but if you go one street over, you might be able to snag a spot.”

“Enter the Lombino Casino, untouched since the 80’s…. Seriously a great game. The decor in these rooms are top notch. Puzzle vary in difficulty and type. Some cool moments and a fun experience! Ps, play this room, then Gryaznayavoda back to back. The stories play right into each other!”

“The best escape room in the state of Oregon. Seriously a fantastic, grounded story with great puzzle mix, fun interactions and refreshing reveals! The environment and props make this room. Everything feels so authentic and it makes for such a clean experience. Book this right after Lombino’s for a cohesive, continuous story and a great double header of puzzling. Patrick was so welcoming and made our group member’s 100th room a memorable experience. The lobby was also the best I’ve ever been in, hands down. Go, book this now. I promise you won’t be disappointed. 👸👰♀️”

“Assassin's Deadly Game is the most surprising room I've ever done. When you walk in, you're almost disappointed... it's just a boring apartment room. That is the furthest thing from the truth. As the story unfolds, you find out that it's one of the most deceptive and cleverly designed rooms ever. Easily the best single-room experience I've done. The puzzles are so fun and so impressive. The game master system is so fun and keeps you locked in to the story. Amazing and underrated room.”

“Thank you Horatio for absolutely playing the part of the character as you were giving us hints. You understood the assignment and made our experience that much better. Loved the immersive set design and puzzles. Everything had a purpose or reference in the room thank you for taking the time to elaborate and share with us the amount of thought that went into this room! Great room for 4-6, if you wanted to play with less than the minimum you can. But one of the rooms does require at least two people to do a puzzle.”

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
