“Ronnie's House is just phenomenal. I've done a lot of rooms before Ronnie's House, and a lot of rooms after... nothing matches the environment and immersiveness of Ronnie's House. My Wife and I love the horror/Kidnapped themes, and this is easily the best. The house is designed to the smallest and most beautifully horrific details. There is so much love and care put into this room. I've always been nervous about actors, but Ronnie is perfect. I've played the room twice, and both times Ronnie creates a fantastic, Spooky, surprising, and fun atmosphere. From the moment you enter, you are completely immersed. The only place the room stumbles is towards the end, but that's just because all the rest of the buildup is so immersive and darkly fun. Going through the house feels organic and each section feels brand new. I could go on and on detailing everything amazing about this room, but really the headline is simple: Ronnie's House is THE must-do room in the PNW.”

“Such a great surprise! The theme was fantastic, the puzzles were super creative, and the set/story were really immersive. We knew this was a smaller room than many we've done, but that never mattered. It was such a blast. Even after 60 escape rooms, this one still had a ton of things we hadn't seen before. It was so clever and perfectly executed. The storyline is clear and ties all the puzzles together in such a seamless manner. Really fantastic.”

“This is a full-on escape experience! The lobby is hilarious and full of nostalgia. The staff is funny and friendly. The escape rooms, quite simply, are epic. Having done 300+, both rooms are among the best we've seen. The overall game design was superb. The puzzles were unique, challenging, topical, and often humorous. Many of these we've never seen anywhere else. There were custom elements throughout that provided a steady stream of sportive surprises. And I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you, Patrick!”

“Assassin's Deadly Game is the most surprising room I've ever done. When you walk in, you're almost disappointed... it's just a boring apartment room. That is the furthest thing from the truth. As the story unfolds, you find out that it's one of the most deceptive and cleverly designed rooms ever. Easily the best single-room experience I've done. The puzzles are so fun and so impressive. The game master system is so fun and keeps you locked in to the story. Amazing and underrated room.”

“This was a really fun escape room. It is a little more difficult than their other rooms, do having at least 4 people is recommended even if you're an advanced/expert player. This room surprised me because they used their space effectively. They also used a bunch of different puzzles, locks, technology and mechanisms, so it's just not a locks and puzzles repeatedly. The room is well decorated that it feels like you are in the experience. The gamemaster (and all at Hour to Midnight) was great and also a great actor as well, definitely enjoyed his job lol. I recommend this room if you have a big group.”

“Scooby-Doo is an absolute blast. The set, puzzles, and story are just perfectly tied to the theme. Everything is so much fun, and the hint/clue system is my favorite I've ever had in an escape room. It's the room I try to have everyone experience at least once.”

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
