“A fantastical fairy tale adventure! 🧚♀️📕 Been hoping to play this for years and it was worth it! Seriously one of the best games in the Pacific Northwest. Very good puzzles, flow and decor. Creative, in universe way of delivering the story and hint system. Can’t wait to come back for their new room and location! I played room #200 here in the same visit and they went above and beyond making it an extra special experience!”

“This is definitely Seattle’s best escape room! While it is pricey and parking/finding the location can be a bit difficult, it’s all worth it. The tricks and twists in this room are awesome. Set design, immersion, puzzles, and storyline A+. I would not recommend it with only 2 people, though! Some puzzles require teamwork with more players. Bring a group and have a blast.”

“Wonderful storytelling and top tier immersion! I’ve never played Arkham before, but this room was a delight! The game starts from the second you walk into the lobby, and grows into multiple paths from there. The set design was top notch and the puzzles made intuitive sense. Cool reveal and great storytelling. Go play it!”

“I believe my team escaped but I can’t remember. When the room couldn’t offer in-person, we had a remote option. I am not as big into horror but this was done so well it didn’t matter. Remote is no longer offered because having a camera on one’s head is too painful and it wouldn’t be feasible for them to keep running it remotely unfortunately.”

“This room was a blast! It has some very unique puzzles that I love. The set design was very nice. The room eases you in with a very simple puzzle but ramps up as you go. It is not a linear room as you can work on multiple puzzles at once in some areas. Overall, I strongly recommend this room!”

“Fox in a Box really delivered on this room, I love their commitment to immersion. You do not need to know any history about the Zodiac Killer to complete this room, but it's nice to have some back story to appreciate their attention to detail in creating this room. My team had a lot of fun working through the puzzles. Keep in mind that at least one person in your group should be comfortable with small spaces before playing this game.”

“I went with a brand new escaper and we got out! Narrowly... I would bring more than 2 people here :) This room is fantastic and memorable. The design was great, and the introduction from our GM was amazing and really set the tone for the room. This is one of the better rooms I have done”

“Very nice room with a unique experience. After doing it with 4 people I consider this one in the medium difficulty since everything was able to flow well without the need of hints. Really recommend this room and the others from this location.”

Seattle is a unique and friendly city with a lot to offer in terms of entertainment and activities. Some of the things that make Seattle fun include its beautiful natural setting, with the nearby mountains and water, its thriving arts and culture scene, its vibrant food and drink culture, and its many outdoor recreational opportunities. There are also many popular attractions in Seattle, such as the Space Needle, the Pike Place Market, and the Seattle Center. All of these things combine to make Seattle a fun and exciting place to visit or live.
Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
